re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

After some real petty neg rep was dispensed in a Board Business thread Nam called it out and the tap was turned off on non-premiums dolling out candy. Too late for me, I was hooked :lol

This is a gem of a thread to hang in. You guys have created something special here and the welcome extended to new arrivals is refreshing, and kinda humbling.

It's about to hit 1am here, time for 6 hours :wave

Goodnight, Lejuan. I'll probably be joining the Premium thing soon as well.

Anyone given a neg rep yet? I know a few people I'd love to give those to.

I've only given out positive rep so far. There is a certain person that hangs around a lot of the Star Wars threads and acts like he knows everything that I wouldn't mind giving one to, but I don't think that's enough to warrant it.

This Godzilla movie better rock. Great design and great trailers so far.

I'm excited beyond belief for the new movie. The trailer is amazing.

This Godzilla figure is actually based off of the 2001 version. That's one of my favorite designs. He's probably the meanest Godzilla out there and I love his crocodilian face and white eyes.

Have a good night, Lejuan! Good morning everyone else!

Shropt, carl is probably not in the game cause of minor rules for slot machines. Maybe? They don't want to appeal to children so I'm guessing they don't want to feature a child in the game.

It's weird that they included Andrea since she was such a hated character on the show. It's weird how she's such a badass and awesome character in the comic series, but they made her super annoying in the show.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

i don't think I can do it. I'm too nice, even to people I don't like. Lol! Just look at me and gibby. :lol :lol

I don't think I'll ever leave a negative one either. I've just been giving them out to people I think deserve it that are being nice and helpful or say something I find humorous.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Here's a picture of a Japanese guy holding him. Should be taking my own crappy photos soon.

That is absolutely beautiful. I searched Ebay to find out what it is and the images are just gorgeous. Please post your pics in here when you get him.

I would like one Godzilla piece, just for my nostalgia, I"m not a hardcore G-Fan. Any recommendations? I don't have $400. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That Godzilla looks great. Are you gona build him a small town to destroy display? Haha

The new film seems like it has the potential to make up for the last blunder.

You might end up opening a can of worms. I know it is not allowed to give negatives easily, but on the music forum where I'm a mod, no one can give negatives. And the things are more smooth. There are a few people on any forum online that may act annoyingly and so on, but I think only mods/admins should be able to give negatives when really deserved, and explained why. The members here are great so I doubt negative reps (out of revenge or other reasons) will come too often or at all.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You'd Be surprised how easily some people would dole out negative feedback. Trust me. And for the dumbest thing. The Internet is full of ignorance.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

They might, but the rules set by Dave are simple here, and not sure if someone would go against. But as you said you never know. I guess talking to a mod later would help understand what happened if someone received negative rep.

Anyway I got a few + reps on my own (thanks guys), but as in other forums, unless you sign you nickname I'm not sure where some of them come from :)

I might be taking some pics today if I have the chance.

I do have some recommendations for you. The same company, X-Plus, that made this figure also has a line of smaller 12" figures that was only available in Japan, but they've now struck a deal with Diamond Comics Distribution to sell them in the U.S. now, so you don't have to pay the crazy shipping prices from Japan.

Entertainment Earth has a few different ones up for pre-order at the moment. They're pricey, but a little more reasonable that the gigantic one I just got. I've been collecting these guys for a quite a few years now, and they're my favorite vinyl Godzilla figures of all time. They're basically vinyl statues, but are very nicely done. If you're looking for a more classic style Godzilla, they currently have the Godzilla vs. Mothra version up for pre-order right now and I bet you can find the original 1954 version somewhere in-stock online if you do a little digging. Otherwise, they'll be coming out with more versions that have been previously released in Japan this year. If there's any specific version of Godzilla that you're particularly fond of, let me know and I can probably get some pics for you so you can pick the one you like the best even if you have to wait awhile.

Otherwise, the S.H. MonsterArts 6" figures are also very cool and have a ton of articulation. Most can be had on Amazon.com. They're pretty expensive for 6" scale figures, but are some of the best 6" figures on the market in my humble opinion.

I wish I had a big cityscape for my Godzilla figures. Maybe I'll put him in the Christmas village next year.

Evening friends! Spent the whole day in the Casino and I'm only down by a hundred bucks! Lots of fun slot games today! My new favorite is the Walking Dead slot. It's pretty fun! Welcome back King and everyone else!!
You have a casino in Houston, or you're out of town?

Mornin' peeps! Slept in today. Last night we watched two BD's. Movie 43 (hilarious!) and Guillermo del Toro's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Expensive weekend in Dallas. $500 spent at IKEA and another $140 on vinyl records.

Last weekend when we went out for our anniversary, we blew over a grand. About half was new clothes and a jacket for me since I'm finally being forced to dress at work. But damn near $600 went to dinner and drink. And the show was free! We couldn't believe it and were wondering how regular folks come to Vegas and do anything...

All this his tattoo talk has me really wanting my R5... And I wanna show my Detoo to the new denizens...

Very nice! I love Ikea. Sadly the closest one is 90 mins away and I have no reason to go there.

What records did you get?

90 minutes! Mine is LA! That's why I tacked on a trip there during my Nostromo trip last month. It had been years.

Did the customers complain too much about you being nude?

You've been working NEKKID this whole time? :panic::panic::panic:
Sounds like you guys had a good time. But I wouldn't make a habit of that! YIKES!

DAMMIT! Shoulda figured you would beat me to the punch!
Yep! Actually these two drunk girls asked me to strip yesterday at work! :lol
Did you do it? :wink1:
Pixeltwit left me negative rep for "Doesnt like Taco Bell." :lol

Can you petition a mod to remove unwarranted negative rep? ......:lol
That's kinda funny, but it also sucks. That's the beginning of the end. Crap like that will catch on. Punk said he's seen it happen before...
