I am definitely considering talking to an attorney since there were no grounds but it seems like, in NJ, you can basically terminate at will as long as you aren't discriminating against race/sex (which may have happened but how do you prove that?).

I just want to move on. It was an absolute nightmare after the first three months and I only stuck it out because I had spent so long looking before I got it.

Dude, wtf? Just read your story and I'm so sorry to hear. ****ty work situations suck and maybe this is fates way of getting you out of it for better things. That's how it always worked for me. Sending you some prayers brother...

My wife is in HR, I'll ask her about suing. She's had people come after her with a lawyer before so you mighty have a shot. The only downside is that if you piss them off they may try to dispute your unemployment claim.

Found out I am losing my job today. How? By finding the listing for my position online.

My boss has been antagonizing me for months. To the point where I had to go to her boss, who assured me she has a problem with everyone. He described her as bipolar and "she hates men." He asked me to please stick it out, that it would get better. I walked into the same guy's office today with the job listing on my phone and asked if he wanted to tell me anything. He looked at it and told me they were replacing me. Essentially because my boss and I had an argument wherein, she claims, I said I didn't care about my job (I didn't say that, I said I didn't care about the very small contribution she made to my workload by putting stickers on some files).

I'm so torn right now. I'm in a spot (though we are not out in the street by any means....my wife makes the real money) but at the same time, tremendously relieved that it's over. I've spent the last year going in early, staying late, and working through lunches to get an unrealistic amount of work done each day. I'm just nervous because it took a very long time to find this job and I can;t afford to have that happen again.

Anyhoo, sorry for the sob story. Heck of a day!

You should apply for the job via the ad they posted under a different name, but with all your credentials and experience etc. See if they call you and offer you the job or an interview... that would be funny, and really awkward for them when you showed up for the interview.

It's easy, turn on the camera, put the phone to your ear like you are making a phone call, point the lens at hot chick as you are 'on the phone', and click! Just make sure the shutter sound is turned off!

We love SW but we don't really have too much of a collection. We have the Hasbro AT-AT they released in the last few years and the Han Solo build a bear. Sean does want to get into the Mythos line though so who knows, we might get a few more things We were both pretty tempted by the 1/6 Vader figure too.

haha, not for taking pics of women... I've tried it a couple times like at Wal-Mart when I see someone dressed strange or something... never got it to work all that well though.
But that was for Titus... so if it doesn't work for him and he gets caught trying to snap a pic, it doesn't affect me.
