Holy crap. My son making me play Batman Lego with him again. I even hate the music at this point. 78% is enough!

I love the Lego Batman 2 soundtrack. Lots of superior Batman 1989 music in that one. :lecture

OK Guys…
So… Believe it or not, after seeing Flosi's amazing drawings I got inspired to go back to drawing myself…
This past Christmas, my wife got me a Intuos tablet, and I've been slowly learning how to use it and do things here and there,
but today I decided to do something more detailed…
So, going off of memory I did this little sketch… it's a little rough, and just to loosen my hand a little bit…

But I wasn't totally pleased with it… it's Ok as a quick doodle, but I wanted to do something more ESB Yoda-esque!
So, I used the classic Yoda pic and came up with this!!
Now, that looks so much better!!! :rock!!!
Any feedback is appreciated! Be gentle, I just started drawing on a tablet and it's harder than what I thought it would be!

Great work! Keep it up, I like your style.

I just bought nice copies of The Police's Outlandos d'Amour and Ghost in the Machine on vinyl. :rock

I think I have the full catalog on vinyl, have to go through all my records one of these days.

Batman 1 or 2? I honestly never heard the music as I had to play with the sound off. I've just started Lego LOTR and holy crap is that a HUGE game. It's going to take me forever to get to 100%.

May The Force Be With You. :thwak
I meant the AMA acronym... No idea what that is...

I'm depressed now.

Alright, let's have a friendly discussion. I know many of you, like myself, are prequel haters, but furystorm's post got me thinking. Which prequel do you like the best of the three or which one do you hate the least?
ROTS is the best IMO. TPM has some awesome moments. I love Neeson, the Duel of the Fates is friggin awesome, and the soundtrack is great! But the other battles kinda sucked. Theed Palace was OK, but the Gungans blew, and the space battle was lame. I'm not even a fan of the pod race. Visually, it was neat. But it was unnecessary. So to me, TPM is the worst of the prequels. There was more stuff going on in AOTC, so I prefer it. Yeah, the romance was quick and totally unromantic, but there was beautiful scenery. Geonosis was interesting (other than the droid fiasco.) I loved the Coruscant bits, and Kamino was OK. Lots of different aliens/races in the movie, which I like. We got to see the Jedi Archives a bit, and the hot librarian. So to me, AOTC is better than TPM. But ROTS wins by a mile!

I Hate / Dislike Revenge of the sith the least.

Also thanks to Kenbenobi for the Rep it's appreciated :)
My pleasure! Not as much rep being handed out these days. So take it wherever you can get it!

When I saw the first doodle, I immediately thought of the TPM puppet Yoda. Is that what you were going for? The 2nd Yoda is definitely OT. I actually like them both! Of course, as a huge Yoda fan, I jyzz for pretty much anything Yoda...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

and kuzeh..................that yoda sketch is awesome. i dig the blue color.

Thanks sir! :duff:

Holy crap! Those look great! Keep um coming! :)

Wohoooo!!! :rock!

Well, the first one I kind of went off of memory, and yes, it looks a bit TPM one! :lol!!
But my favorite Yoda is ESB, so that's why I went back to the drawing board and used a reference pic this time around! ;)
Thanks dude!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I hated Revenge of the Sith the most of the three. Although, they had some pretty neat looking designs in that one.

If anyone knows of anyone selling an IG-88 12" from Sideshow, I'd like to buy one. Exclusive preferred...

It definitely could have been better. The lightsaber battle with the Emperor was LAME! Kit Fisto's death was ridiculous. They were all taken out too easily, except for Mace of course. But it was interesting to see how Anakin turned, how Vader became part-mechanical, how the Emperor got so wrinkly, how Luke and Leia became orphans, how C3PO lost his memory, how the Jedi were killed, how Yoda ended up on Dagobah, and more. It answered a lot of questions. I'm not saying the story was what we expected or hoped, but it got where it needed to by the end.

I didn't like how they tied a lot of things together in that one. The robot midwife and the naming of Luke and Leia was pretty corny. I always thought the Emperor was wrinkly because he was old. No need for force lighting induced wrinkles imo. I did enjoy crispy Hayden crawling up the hill, though. That made me chuckle.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I will not give into that bait. :lol

'89 music is better. Danny Elfman, right?

Yep. Can't go wrong with Elfman. That music really says Batman when you hear it. Probably why they used it in the movie. I also like that they used the John Williams Superman theme in the game as well. That was pretty cool. I'm still working on it, though. Just got Superman as a team member actually.

Private message sent.
Sweet, thanks! I may bite at that. I actually had ordered the exclusive, but canceled it for some reason right before it was released. I don't remember why. I was kicking myself for a while, then completely forgot about it. Now I need to correct that mistake.

I'm going to go play with mine right now.
And your figure, too!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I made stuffed shells tonight, with spinach and basil. So good. Was interrupted by FLOSI though. So good...

I will say though, a 500 degree oven sure will heat the house and the chef up!

Sitting outback in the cold air, with only a t-shirt on...

Gonna go for DQ in a bit. :D

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

All that new Harry Potter stuff in Orlando. Why can't Celebration be there next year? :gah:

I was upset seeing all the sign/previews when I was there in July.

My fav was ROTS. The march on the Jedi temple was pretty intense to me and order 66 was nerve racking. Seeing how all the jedi where betrayed. Getting solo Yoda scenes in the end was great to me.
Also after watching how much work Ewan and Hayden did for the epic duel I had to respect that!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Maybe we need to make a group get together and meet up with Shropt possibly in 2016 or 2017??? :)

I could go for that.

Bubble wrap? Tissue paper?

I've got 3 mogwai albums that are worth a 120 bucks or so. I know I'll never use them so I want to send them your way.

This was in tissue paper, but I've received some with bubble wrap, too.

No way, dude! You're too kind! :thud:
