Oooh, I like that!

Man I wish I was loaded with money. Shropt posted this ebay auction on my Facebook today: the actual cage that held the velociraptor in the opening of Jurassic Park. It's at $10,000 now. UGH!!! NEED MONEY, want cage!! lol
I can only dream now. I wish I could say spare no expense. :(

136 bidders?!?!?! WOW! Wish I had money like that... UT, I was gonna buy it for you, but it's local pickup only. Sorry...
Oh man, that would have been bad ***!!! I like that you like Jurassic Park! It's my favorite movie of ALL TIME! :rock
Ahem. STAR WARS! :thwak

As I was setting up collectibles this evening, I realized I have #1138 of the Gentle Giant McQuarrie Vader bust. :lol
Very cool! I never get good numbers like that...

I'm starting my list. Make that lists… :lol

Collectibles, clothing, household items… Oy.
Dude, that 100 item thing is insane. Don't do it!!! But if you must, I'll be the sacrificial lamb and throw myself under bus, and take those Alien figures off your hands... :monkey3

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I have over 60 t-shirts alone, there is no way I could do the 100 item thing.

Okay... $500 shipped. ;)

I'm thinking they'll likely end up like the Grendel comics... One collection.

Was watching the Grammys… ughh!!! painful to see some of these "performers"
Good thing Stevie Wonder and Daft Punk set things right!
What a great performance!!
:rock!

I recorded the whole show and started watching some this morning. Very crappy musical performances, but it was nice to see them winning for Best Pop Duo.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Pfft! No raptor, no sale.

This...

Damn, that's cool. I tried to track down certain numbers for my Chewbacca collection but never had any luck.

Crap, that was last night? While I have a distaste for modern pop music, I love to watch the performances and usually watch every year but I was so tired and hurting from the toy show yesterday that I passed out by 9.

Yeah I have like 30-40 tees but probably only wear 10 of them. My OCD won't let me get rid of anything.

Good morning! My second official day of solo Mr. Momming while the Mrs. goes out to make the bacon.. Gonna try to set up a makeshift art table upstairs so I can get some stuff done when my daughter blesses me with a nap.

I dont see the point unless your in need of money.

I'm in need of sanity, space, and simplicity. :lecture

I take it this is a Buddhist thing fury? Like I said when you were here visiting, it makes no sense to me the structure of that part of it... get rid of everything that makes you happy and cut ties off with everyone... makes no sense. Life is there to be enjoyed. If material things get in the way and cause problems, then yes, reevaluate and get rid of some... but just not having anything to not have anything makes no sense to me. It basically seems like a philosophy of get rid of everyone and everything until you die alone. Sounds like fun. :p
One of my best friends is somewhat Buddhist, well, not but he follows some of the stuff etc. And I always joke around with him cause he's always asking for stuff... like recently he started a new job where he needed a digital camera, and a printer for the job... so he's asking everyone if he can borrow a camera or if they have a printer for cheap he could buy... and then later needed a hammer for something, and something else when he was moving, all within a week... so I laughed and joke with him saying, "How's that simpleton Buddhist no possessions lifestyle working out for you there buddy!? Doesn't seem all that great when you have to ask everyone for stuff cause you got rid of all yours. haha"

Mr. Mom.... that's one of my top favorite movies of all time. Love it.

Well, it comes with a Raptor prop inside the cage...

For what it costs I want a real Raptor damnit.

Ahh, Mr. Momming. I did that for 2 years and it drove me nuts.

Do you know UT? :lol
Yeah, I know JP is his fave. But that doesn't mean I can't try to win him back! If Luke could get Vader to turn to the light side, then there's still hope for UT!

I probably have 100 different Star Wars tees, but I keep wearing the same 15. Eventually I'll rotate out I guess, after these show wear... I'm in a SW tee every Saturday, and the occasional Sunday.

Morning Guys :wave
NORM! I mean, um... SEAN!!!

Raptor poodoo!

Morning guys. Enjoying last week off before I start the new job.
Enjoy it while you can!!! Watch the holy trilogy, buy new collectibles, and relax!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

What did I do this weekend? Find stuff to sell at the show next week, match up weapons to vintage figures, and watch HIMYM. I do not have many aliens to sell, other than bounty hunters, jawas, ewoks, and ugnaughts. Just Ree Yees and Squid Head. Some of these figures sell for more on Ebay than I thought! I think I'm gonna list a bunch of the figures which sell well, since the toy show will not get more than 5 bucks a figure.

I'm still getting caught up on How I Met Your Mother (finally into season 9!) which regularly has Star Wars references. In one episode, the Grail Knight from Indy TLC was in many scenes (not the original actor he's dead). Was quite amusing... I'm through Episode 6. Just two months ago, I hadn't seen anything after Season 4...

I'd rather have a dilophosaurus than a raptor. Just sayin'.

Post a list of what complete figures you have. I could use quite a few. I was able to trade for some yesterday so I need to work on my Master List.

And, HIMYM is one of my all time favorite shows. I was dying laughing at the episode with the Grail Knight but my wife didn't get it, of course.

I just saw this on FB and thought of you:
