Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I'll take a twin-ion engine any day over an Encom fighter. :pfft:

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I probably liked the snowspeeder the best (even as a kid I could tell it was the most "in scale" of all flying vehicles) but I never had one. :(

Slave I was my favorite ship that I actually owned. Awesome design (obviously) with lots of play value.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I remember taking my Snowspeeder out with dozens of firecrackers. :lol

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I only had the X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Vader TIE Fighter and Slave I when I was a kid. Since picking up vintage collecting this year, I've added an A-Wing, B-Wing, Y-Wing, Rebel Transport, Snowspeeder and MF. I still need to find another MF because I fear this one has all repro labels which I don't care for.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

oh Slave I. I think I received that one on 3 seperate occasions because I kept losing the frozen han solo bit (which was my favorite and most prized possession growing up).

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I remember (correct me if I am wrong.. I may be remembering things wrong) but the X-wing Luke figure came on it's own card and I got X-wing luke for my birthday and was bummed because I didn't get the X-wing fighter. I was majorly bummed. SO bummed I didn't even take it out of the package... It's coolness factor just seemed kind of impotent. :dunno

That's pretty ____ed up. :lol

X-Wing wasn't as cool as Vider's TIE Fighter.

:dunno Is he from Hardware Wars? :dunno

I don't know what that is. He's probably from sleep deprived typing wars. :pfft:

They were equally cool. (My brother got that though )

My brother got the X-Wing. :panic:

I got the Snowspeeder though (he got Slave 1) and that was actually my favorite.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

the snowspeeder was one of the ships i just had to have after stopping collecting sw toys, just too cool.

So I got back last night from spending four days at Disneyland. The new Star Tours adventures are really, really cool, for those who may be going sometime soon. There's 50 some-odd ride combinations, all in 3-D.

Ah, that pic makes me wish it didn't happen :lol

Very jealous though, the new Star Tours sounds like a blast :rock

I was a little disappointed in the Star Trader store there, though. There just wasn't much in the way of Star Wars cool swag, outside of a few expensive T-shirts.

I did buy a couple of these little Star Wars Vinylmation figures though:

You never know which ones you'll get since they're in sealed bags within the boxes, but I scored a Vader and Luke, so I was happy.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

Those are fugly :lol Especially the Leia :yuck

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I like the Vader. He's pretty much awesome in any format.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I only wanted Vader, so I got lucky. Luke made for a nice companion piece though. If I had gotten, say, Vader and Lando, or Vader and Leia or even one of the droids they really wouldn't have went all that well together.
