I actually have no interest in a Luke in X-wing gear. Why? Because having Luke in X-wing gear requires an X-wing fighter. No way can I get an X-wing fighter.

In all seriousness though he did do some pretty cool things outside the cockpit while wearing that suit. Taking down an AT-AT on foot, "you're lucky you don't taste very good," etc.

I remember (correct me if I am wrong.. I may be remembering things wrong) but the X-wing Luke figure came on it's own card and I got X-wing luke for my birthday and was bummed because I didn't get the X-wing fighter. I was majorly bummed. SO bummed I didn't even take it out of the package... It's coolness factor just seemed kind of impotent.

Yeah X-Wing Luke came on his own card, it was actually the first Luke I got. My parents were cool enough to get me an X-Wing as well. So cool running around the house pressing down on the R2 to make the lasers go off.
