I thought I'd be getting the Maul one sooner than later, but now it turns out I have to wait until April to get my Maul. I'll likely have the GG before that! Plus I was trying to push myself, because I'm not the biggest PT fan in the world. Maul is a cool character, poorly used in the series. I was actually trying to think of another PT character that I would want in this line, and only came up with Grievous. Then I remembered seeing him previewed years ago for this line, so...

It's nice to finally see one of these go to waitlist. They'll continue that trend if the finished product can match the prototype.

Was I wrong in thinking the Maul went waitlist around ship time, and is back. This is a trend with Sideshow items. And it leads me to believe I'll have no trouble at all with my waitlist for Obi. I mean, I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I totally believe this is Sideshow's M.O. for getting some steam on an item which is not selling as well as they might like.

I'd cite the Snow Troll, which a few newsletters ago was listed as having just a few left, and is now gift card eligible, even at only 500 produced, and shows no signs of selling out...

Apparently, she has a stage show called "Playing with Micucci" where she tells stories and plays songs on her ukulele. Sounds interesting.

I don't even know what she looks like but I'd listen to her telling stories and singing about playing with her cucci.

And big props to KenBenobi for keying me into the discount code that I should have known about, prior to ordering yesterday. Someone around here should have been looking out for me. It makes a somewhat overpriced statue, a bit more easy on the wallet. Just a bit. These things are getting pricey. Hope they have LOTR maquette quality going on in this line...

I didn't realize the Obi-Wan Mythos had gone wait list until you guys mentioned it. When did that happen? I just added myself to the waitlist. Do they really charge the deposit if you are on the waitlist?

It went waitlist this morning. I know because I've obviously been ordering Mythos items the last few days. And no, you only pay the deposit if/when your waitlist converts to a live order.

I became suspicious that Obi-Wan was going to be waitlist when he had disappeared off of each subsequently released Mythos page, in the associated product areas at the top right of each individual page.
