I think of Waller as the big brother I never had. He's too school for cool.

But I had to dig and dig to find that name myself. The experience portion of Sideshow's site is such a cluster.

And big props to KenBenobi for keying me into the discount code that I should have known about, prior to ordering yesterday. Someone around here should have been looking out for me. It makes a somewhat overpriced statue, a bit more easy on the wallet. Just a bit. These things are getting pricey. Hope they have LOTR maquette quality going on in this line...

It's called a dome plate. And it is used to mount all the gadgets that rise out of R2's dome, like the periscope, life form sensor, and possibly Luke's lightsaber too! The thing is aluminum and anodized to the red color. I'm digging the red for a touch of color when he's opened up in the future, but these do come in varying colors, when the run is available that is.

You don't even want to know what this thing cost!

And I'll say this. I've met Kenny Baker, but I can't believe anybody could fit inside an astromech. The parts are all smaller than I anticipated...
