I spent all day transporting heavy things from my apartment to my house. Then got drunk on Flying Dog Raging *****, Chimay, and (finally) Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot.

Today: the washer and dryer, old big tv sets, and the bed.

Man, Argo was damn good! Ben Affleck is one hell of a film maker.

It was good but I don't think it was best picture of the year. He is a great director though, I love the Kenner love he filmed in that movie.

Argo was very good, though not quite best picture worthy IMO. It's funny what wins in certain "off" years. I almost feel like Hollywood was impressed by the insight into their industry that the film provided.

Haven't seen Argo yet but we finally watched "the descendants" last night. Didn't that win best movie last year? Thought it was pretty deep. Needless to say the wife was tearing up watching our 8 month old daughter sleep.
