Gah, I missed the contest. Great prize fury! I didn't even know there were that many issues of the Marvel comic.

IIRC, there were 107 issues. I have them somewhere, carded and boxed. I bought the collection in the early days of Ebay for pretty cheap. Never opened em or read em. I kinda wish I had, but I was too scared to mess em up... So I'm probably destined to get those omnibuses eventually so I can finally read the stories...

I hope we both do! I wish Sideshow was going. It's right in their backdoor, but they ain't goin! At SDCC, I won a contest in the exhibit hall the very first year I went in 1998. Went every year but one through 2011, but never won an exhibit hall contest again. Way too many people there. Wondercon should have better odds... The exhibitor list is actually pretty big. Better than I expected..

Hey Shropt! See if Sideshow wants to donate any prizes for the Wondercon Freaks dinner raffle! The only attendees may be me and fury, and perhaps one other person, but we don't need to tell them that!

I took a piss next to Kenny Baker, true story. He broke wind in front of me, very surreal experience.

At The Chicago Comic Conn (now Wizard World) about 15 years ago, I was hanging out at the bar next to the convention center. At one point I walk into the bathroom and what do I see.....Kenny Baker with the stall door open, standing on the toilet seat taking a wizz. It was one of the funniest damn things I've ever seen.

I saw Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker walking together at Wizard World Chicago some years back. It was a pretty strange sight.
