They have an omnibus for the Marvel series?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I got my prize from Fury's last giveaway today. :duff

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It should be a drinking contest, but I'm not sure how to officiate that on the internet!

The damage is minimal. I even told them I could probably live with it, as these were just going to be a reading set anyway, but that I would not be buying from them again if this is how they shipped items. So they replaced them. Basically, Volume 3 has stress marks at the back near the spine, and Volume 2 is semi-crushed at the top front right side, so the page side. Just enough to tick me off. But these would be great for reading.

Oh yeah! :panic:

:1-1:

Three of 'em.

Five volumes actually! 107 issues... :D

I know Dark Horse has five paperback volumes. This is something different?

Nope, these are what you are thinking of. "These are the droids you are looking for."

I'm drinking now. What do I win?

Text me a picture since I'm unfamiliar with these. :wave

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You know what really irks me?

They have Volume 1 on the first...

Volume Two on the second...

Then back to numerals for the remainder! WTF

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, I hate that. DC is notorious for inconsistent designs on their tpb spines.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Well, this is on the cover actually. But the spines being off irks me too. My Volume 1 is a second print, and these are reading copies after all, so I have to forgive them the change on the spine design. Or do I? Then you can see by the new Infinities design that the spine has changed again anyway!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That spine change would drive my OCD crazy. :panic:

I have the first volume around here somewhere.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh, Volumes 2 and 3 would suit you nicely. Too bad you have been excluded from this one...

So, ideas on a contest? Gotta focus on drinking somehow. :chug

Boy, I'll tell you. The art really tapered off on that last volume of issues. It looks horrifically mid eighties bad. I'm sure the story will mimic the art, and be equally horrific. Hope I can make it through the entire run...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

There's some duds in volume one. A ***king rabbit? :slap

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I know, but I wanted to whack nostalgic... I did not read these comics, they were just slightly ahead of my time.

You probably read them all as a kid huh? :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Actually, I didn't get into comics until the 80s. Surprisingly, Star Wars were not the ones I read back then.
