Like that would ever play in Oklahoma. I'll own the BD before you, though. :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I never got a chance to see Edge of Tomorrow in the theaters. Just realized. :(
Awesome flick! I forgot about that one. That would be my 3rd favorite flick this year, behind TWS and DOFP. Lego would be 4th.

I would say that my favorites would be:

The LEGO Movie
And yeah, that's it. That's the only thing I've seen and even that doesn't really count because I fell asleep halfway through.
Wow, you suck! :lol

I watched a Studio Ghibli film yesterday. Ugh, it was so boring. I usually enjoy the Ghibli films too. It was called Whisper of the Heart. I fell asleep in the middle. Nothing magical happens.
If an animated movie put YOU to sleep, that seems like magic to me... Like a spell.

Wow, just heard Robin Williams died today in an apparent suicide :monkey2
So sad!

Ugh, $184 for driving on the shoulder, and $134 for a cracked windshield. **** you cops!!!!!!!!!!! :(
You should have told him you were pulling into the shoulder because you had just realized you had a cracked windshield.

NO!!! I wasn't really driving on the shoulder. I was turning right at the intersection with a red light. I just happened to be turning right in the shoulder. The 3 cars behind me were definitely driving on the shoulder though. The police caught them too, and rightfully so!! :lol
How the **** did the cop pull over 4 cars at once?

I'm just glad the people behind me that were driving on the shoulder got caught. I know not to drive on the shoulder. The sign says it!! It was just my turn to make a right at the stoplight. But whatever. It'll be just my word against the cop's if I go to court. I don't like to argue, as you know. :lol :lol :lol
They should have just said they were following YOU! It was all your fault! :lol

They like to stand by the side of the road and catch people in the act.

At my last job in Houston, I could see the freeway from my window. A few times a month, I would see these two ***hole cops waiting in this empty lot on the freeway feeder and they would literally walk out in front of cars to have them pull into the lot to get tickets. I really wanted to see those guys get run over, but never did. :(

It was two cops. They tag teamed us like *****es. One was across the street, the other waited after you made the right turn to pull you over into the shopping center parking lot. The one across the street was the eye, and radioed to his partner.

EXACTLY how they did it. He was right in the road, the ****er. :(

Is it horrible that I wanted a car to run him over? :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Suicide sucks all around, particularly for those left behind. Just saying. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I still can't believe Robin Williams would off himself. He could still get movie roles quite easily. He was great at the smaller cameo roles. He didn't have a good movie as the star for several years. As for his TV show, I thought it was all right. I watched it. It had a good cast. Everybody was amusing...

I see that none of us won the Episode VII role. Some bastard in Denver won. He was born in 1972. Lucky mother ****er.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Suicide is a really selfish act but as someone who's almost been there a few times (something I haven't told many people), you don't see it that way. Your mind is so clouded in your own misery and problems that you shut everything else out. You only want to stop the pain. Mental illness and depression are horrible diseases that stay with you for life. I fight with it everyday though hide it the best I can. Somedays are better than others.

I don't want to make this about me, I just want to be honest. Robin Williams' death hits me on a lot of different levels and is an unfortunate reminder of the demons that I, and many, many others, fight every day. You guys are a big part of keeping me centered. Being able to come here and vent my frustrations every once in a while means a lot. Thank you...

Thanks for sharing that with us. I'm sure it wasn't easy. We're glad you're part of this extended family and we're here if you ever need us. :lecture
