re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'll have enough room for two Detolfs in my brothers room.... I'm gonna go all Star Wars. Kinda hard to condense 120 figures into two cases though. :(

120 figures? :panic:

You can do it, Flosi. You just have to go with the crowded freight elevator poses like I do.

It's just a stepping stone to better days. :1-1:

That's far too many. Mail me a Batman.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Im stressing out guys and need some advice on what you would do.
Im not enrolled in any classes yet but Ive applied to Western Kentucky weeks ago. They called me today and told me I need to send in my military paperwork then a 10 day processing happens. which is one day before classes start.
Enrollment for the community college ends friday and I can take classes for an associates of arts if needed.
The problem is if I wait for WKU I risk not being accepted for the fall but spring. Which will lead me to not being a student. I lose alot of Army benifits if im not full time and my student membership to various business. I also lose out on Fafsa which is $2700 in my pocket.

So im stressing on what to do. Pray for a fall enrollment and work towards bachelor or be safe and work on a second associates.

Thanks for reading. What would you do? Being a student banks me about $4000 in my pocket fyi. And each school advisor is siding with their respective schools which doesnt help me.

Yikes. Are you able to enroll in the community college without paying anything? Meaning, could you back out if you successfully get into W. Kentucky for the Fall? That sucks they didn't tell you they needed the paperwork until just now, seeing as you applied weeks ago... You may want to tell W. Kentucky about your dilemma to see if they can speed up that 10-day process. If they won't do anything to help, and if you are unable to "back out" if you enroll at the community college, then the safest course of action is to stick with the community college for the Fall, and switch to W. Kentucky in the Spring. I know that's not ideal, but at least you're not gambling and won't get screwed over...

I could drop the classes the first week for free but that would make Me an official student at that school. Meaning no WKU. however I could see if there is an exception.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Also ive told WKU. All they said was send the military transcript and wait to see what happens. No help

That was going to be my suggestion. :(

Would it kill you to attend community college for a semester and sort this out for next term? Sounds like you're hot for WKU but money is scary. I would go for the sure thing.

Sorry for the boring advice....I've had to become responsible, like Lando.

Can you enroll at the community college, but don't have them submit for your financial aid until you know whether or not you get into WKU? The only problem I see with enrolling at both schools at once is if they both try to claim the same financial aid for you... Unless there's a factor I'm not thinking of...

Random amusement - I am watching the new animated Batman movie and the Arkham Warden's name is Waller. The Riddler just said "I don't know why you talk to me like that, Waller" and I LOLed in real life.

Hmm I could see a problem there I will ask first thing tomorrow.

It wouldn't hurt me at All. I would get classes done and get my benefits.
Only negative is missing a semester towards my bachelor degree.
I feel like Luke trapped on the farm. But it's a whole another year! Well half a year lol.

That's an awesome out-of-context quote.

:lol

Lando was responsible??? :dunno

He was before the Empire showed up.

Sweet! I need to add that to my Netflix queue. :lol
