Man that ACI Aragorn really sucks. I'm not gonna pick on it but I wouldn't dare put that into my Middle-earth collection.

Yep, swing and a miss. The oufit looks incredible though, so might be worth picking up even if the head still looks like a chick.

That pic is from eBay. Mine is about 80-90% full. Same box though. A buddy of mine found it at a flea market years ago and I was always jealous of it. Last year he needed to make room so he finally offered to sell it to me. There's one more store display that I would kill to have:

This is really the one thing I hoped would happen now that Lucas no longer has control. I'll be interested to see how these fair against Harmy's work. Of course they will be originals (or so they say) but curious if the transfer will be done with as much care and attention or if they'll just "wing" like they normally do

I know they won't let Star Wars be shown at the beginning of SW without A New Hope.

That's one thing I can live with as a change... certainly wouldn't mind the option to have both scrolls, but if not it's not even close to being a deal breaker.

It's so funny to see people believe this. Fox Owns OT movie distribution rights forever. This was only reported on one site, don't you think this would be picked up by other more reputable movie sites.

No they own Star Wars distribution rights forever, they lose the rest by 2020. So the next real question is what kind of distribution deal does Fox have. I can't believe it's a lease for ever so it's likely a profit sharing deal. That's means if Disney did all the work to redo all three they would need fox to agree to a shared distribution. Why wouldn't fox do so it would be basically free money. Fox would get their cut of Star Wars and the rest of money would go to Disney.

I dont belive it will happen on BluRay not because of the fox deal but I have a feeling BluRay will be like the dodo bird in 2020.

I ate a steak last night too. When in Rome and all that. My new boss invited me over for dinner with the other RTs and I didn't want to be a bad guest. Especially since he had dry aged the steaks...
