Thanks, Aaron! I can't wait until it comes in. I took a break this week from eBay before starting up the drive for the next one. Not sure I'll be able to get it bought before my vacation later this month, so I may take it easy this month.

As a couple of you guys know I used to do a comic strip in the newspaper back in college. Thought I would share this one with you guys.

This was out when the SW Special editions hit
Awesome comic! You should apply to work for Dark Horse! ;)

I had an exhibitor's badge, but didn't get there until about noon on Saturday. The place was packed.

For that, you get this: :thwak

I was wondering, because the guys on Rebel Force Radio were talking about CVII like it was a done deal. Remember that Reed had contracted into Orlando for three events? At least that's what I always heard.

Contracts can always be bought out though... just sayin'
This was my thought as well... Also, the RFR guys have been wrong before. They were talking an awful lot about Clone Wars Season 6 once upon a time, but I don't see that happening! :gah: :pfft:

Did you know someone with a booth or something?

You'll have to come down on Friday next year. I got there late Saturday, but I would guess it was only half full on Fri compared to Sat.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh my goodness. Are you postulating that the Celebrations could alternate between OCCC and Anaheim Convention Center? I love them both, not that I've visited Anaheim with WonderCon recently.

Yeah! Bring it! :D
I would LOVE it to alternate. Florida is too hot. We lucked out at CVI, but CV was miserable (heat and humidity-wise). Not to mention rain. I got drenched at CV, and my favorite SW hat was ruined.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, I would love for it to alternate every 2 years!

Then again....CVI had that huge tropical storm came in on the day we were leaving. Not sure swapping that with earthquakes is better or worse. :lol

A lady I work with was running a t-shirt booth and she gave me her extra tickets.

I used to go every day, but I've slowly started to limit my time at the conventions in the past couple of years.

Friday would be cool next year. I hope I can go, but I may be living the life of a poor college student this time next year if all goes as planned.
