I was thinking about getting one of those bitcoin mining machines, but I don't know if I trust that whole deal. Might just have to sell some of the collection. I'm going to miss my statue of Conan carrying the girl with the big butt. :monkey2

I kept hoping for awesome people to get announced for C2E2. :monkey3:monkey3

Yeah, me too. This year was somewhat disappointing for guests. Especially after Adam West canceled. It was a pretty weak lineup.

I had to meet Chris Hemsworth when they announced him 2 years ago I think? I bought the VIP and plane tickets like a month before April. That was fun!

I kind of wanted to meet Felicia Day, but in the end I said F it. I've never really been into meeting celebrities.

I can't wait to meet Patrick Stewart at the Houston convention later this month. I have no idea what i want him to sign yet.

I can try to buy someone's tot for you. But I can't take any extras. When the time comes, I'll take some buying requests for merchandise (nothing too large or fragile, however). I want to try to help others out as best I can.

Please put me down for an Artoo tot. :D

I just worry about not working my regular job and going back to school full-time.

You can actually do both. While I was laid off in February this year, I've been full time for the past two years in school and work, and part time school for two years before that. It can be done. Don't discount working while you are in school. Especially if you are planning on getting loans for the majority of your costs, because that may not work out. I was exempt from getting any federal assistance (loans, grants, otherwise) as I already has my BFA.

It's worth it though. I sold my all time favorite piece to pick up these two puppies, and not be worried about my education expenses while in my last few months. It's just priorities...

I need to start selling more stuff, mostly cause I have no space. :lol

Yeah, I'd F her, too. Oh wait, that's not what you said... :monkey3
I've wanted to meet her for a while. Had many opportunities, but never have...

The security around him is ridiculous. They'll tackle anyone who pulls a camera out within 100 feet of him!

You and me both, brotha! I seem to keep buying large items, yet I only sell small things like DVD's. I need to try to reverse that trend...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

i never seen dune
I saw Dune in the theaters when it first came out with a group of board buddies! It was back when there were BBS's (bulletin board systems) and I used my 300 baud Commodore 64 modem. It was like a pre-cursor to the internet! It was my first group of online friends. Didn't keep in touch with any of them. But I was like 12-13, and they were all in their 20's and 30's. Ah, memories...
