Check the 2.0. I'll take pics of what I got in a bit.

I think it's just going to keep getting worse. Conventions in general seem to be getting more and more crowded. Even G-Fest, a very tiny niche convention with very little to do there, was packed. I blame The Big Bang Theory.

I live fairly close to Punk, but he hates me and I don't drive to Indiana.

:lol I don't hate you at all Ben. :D I just try to encourage you to break out of your comfort zone.

I'm liking this a lot. I may have to dip my toe back into the SS pool...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm tempted to get this t-shirt. Mainly because of the unintentionally hilarious "Deadly thumbs" annotation.

That one caught my eye too and the unintentional joke as well :lol

craponastick turkeyopoly banweeweeounts!!! :panic:

Ah memories. Those were fun times.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm missing the thumb joke. :dunno

Well, it's not really a joke, it's just funny because it doesn't make any sense. It should've said "Deadly claws" or "Killing Claws" or maybe even "Deadly Talons", but "Deadly Thumbs" sounds pretty stupid.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Pretty much, it's a silly thing to point out. It's like saying "killer big toe!" as a selling point, I get what they are trying to point out but it didn't come off as I think was intended :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I thought she had opposable thumbs like primates and humans. From all the DNA splicing. Actually, it's a quite serious indictment. Such as, man is the most dangerous animal.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It had opposable thumbs? I remember t-rex, velociraptor, squid, and tree frog dna being used, and I thought none of those have opposable thumbs, but there actually are some frogs with opposable thumbs. I guess the joke is ruined now. Thanx fury! :lol

OK, you guys and gibby got me addicted to Hallmark in like a day. I bought like 9 ornaments already within the past 24 hours. :(

:( :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I don't know how to do that.

First start by listening to the advise we give you. :D Second, if you want to do something, but are scared of the situation, do it anyway... most times you'll find out it was worth taking that leap. For instance, if someone invites you to a party or to go do something... your first instinct might be to say no cause you won't feel comfortable or won't really know anyone...(or heaven forbid it's a 20 minute drive for you! :panic: :lol ) Just say to hell with it and go. You may meet the love of your life at that party, you may meet a new friend, you may meet a guy that has a ton of old Godzilla stuff he's about to drop off at Goodwill. If you go and the night is a bust at least you got out of the house and did something... and then next time will be that much easier and more comfortable for you. Same with driving... you live in the Chicago area, one of the coolest cities around, but won't drive into it. That really limits you as far as what you will be comfortable doing... the love of your life could ask you out and want to go to a restaurant downtown... and you'd have to turn her down cause you never got comfortable driving in the traffic... girl goes bye bye. Sad Ben remains. Say yes to some things in life, and look to the good of the outcome, not the bad.

Cliff's Notes for King Darkness: Ben, get out and do stuff. :)
