re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

First start by listening to the advise we give you. :D Second, if you want to do something, but are scared of the situation, do it anyway... most times you'll find out it was worth taking that leap. For instance, if someone invites you to a party or to go do something... your first instinct might be to say no cause you won't feel comfortable or won't really know anyone...(or heaven forbid it's a 20 minute drive for you! :panic: :lol ) Just say to hell with it and go. You may meet the love of your life at that party, you may meet a new friend, you may meet a guy that has a ton of old Godzilla stuff he's about to drop off at Goodwill. If you go and the night is a bust at least you got out of the house and did something... and then next time will be that much easier and more comfortable for you. Same with driving... you live in the Chicago area, one of the coolest cities around, but won't drive into it. That really limits you as far as what you will be comfortable doing... the love of your life could ask you out and want to go to a restaurant downtown... and you'd have to turn her down cause you never got comfortable driving in the traffic... girl goes bye bye. Sad Ben remains. Say yes to some things in life, and look to the good of the outcome, not the bad.

Although going back in the MOTUC thread now, it seems like it's all new people. I'll just stick to the cantina. :lol :lol :lol

I hates SDCC now. I skip going one year, then can never get tickets again. Their ticket process sucks.

I was tempted by Reaction figures for the first time today. saw the Gremlins line, buy two get one free. I resisted.

But I bought Star Wars cereal and graham crackers.
Aw man, my store didn't have Gremlins yet. I may have bought those G2G1F.

I might take you up on that offer. :wave

Cool! Great trailer...

I was at Hallmark too, and got my hockey ornament!! :lol

:)
Hockey?!?!?! Is that for you, or Eli? Hockey sucks.

We watched Jurassic Park in 3D at home last night. Today, we're seeing Jurassic World at the theater.
Took you long enough! :impatient:

punk hates fury Ben. Get it right! ;)
Who doesn't? :dunno

For me of course!! They have my favorite player on the Chicago Blackhawks as an ornament this year. I almost peed my pants and I called gibby immediately. He already knew of course about the figure, but was happy that I got one too (he had already been at Hallmark earlier yesterday morning). I then proceeded to buy Ackbar, Jiminy Cricket, Linus playing a piano with dancing Snoopy, Sorceror Mickey, Megatron, R2 and 3PO, Gizmo driving his little car, and the Starship Enterprise.

Wow, really? Didn't hear news of that but since I never got Grayskull, it'll be easy to pass on this...

I'm not a MegaBlocks fan but this will be too hard to resist:

I do my best. It's just that I don't like parties, Chicago is too congested and busy for me, and I've already met the love of my life, but she put me in the phantom zone on Facebook and I defriended her, so I'm done.

Although going back in the MOTUC thread now, it seems like it's all new people. I'll just stick to the cantina. :lol :lol :lol

That thread was awesome back in the day when the line first started, but it's full of jerks and a-holes now. It used to be Cantina-esque.
