re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I excuse no grammar mistakes and accept no excuses.

So, I suppose I really wouldn't like AOU, since the other two Marvel films everyone is comparing it to did nothing for me. :dunno

Oh, I think that's it. I must have been out at that time.

Bryne in the late 80's was a pretty standard re-telling of the Superman myth.

What was it you dinged me for via text??? It was a term I never even used to that point. Grammar nazi!!!

I had problems with MOS but that newest trailer for BvS looks pretty good to me. I really like the whole Bruce POV of what happened in Metropolis, and I'm really liking Affleck's pained, seething fury look. I really DIDN'T like Ma Kent's "pep talk" to Supes. Geez, I thought Supe's parents were supposed to be nice with wholesome values which instilled in him the desire to be a hero. But these parents are jerks!

Maybe this movie will help right the ship WRT Supe's personality and learn from Batman and WW what a real hero is supposed to be like.

Team DC!! AoU was good but it could've been better. I think the hype made it have that affect on me. If you ask me how it could be better i wouldn't know though. Its just i didn't walk out of the theatre with that aww factor like i did with Winter soldier or Avengers.

I am biased on Superman but i feel like Henry does a good job. Truly. There's so many different ways you can play Superman and no actor can be what Supes is. Which is the perfect Moral human (yea alien blah)

Batfleck is getting a divorce bc he spent 6 months in his homemade batcave to be one with the bat. No more needed info here. The man picked Batman over women!

DC movies will be dark and gritty. Which i love and im looking forward to all of them!

DISCLAIMER* ignore any grammar problems im young and live in the texting age. Accept me for who i am haha

:lol on your disclaimer. Although I must just point out:

Aww = cute puppies!
Awe = wow!

But, perhaps you meant you found Winter Soldier cute and adorable though, hence your use of aww. :D

I texted you, you didn't respond. Tsk tsk tsk...

From Topps:
"A very limited quantity of our oversized vintage style cards from SDCC will be going on sale tomorrow on Topps.com. $20 a set with 10 different character sets to collect. All are still available, but in limited quantities. Thanks everyone for joining us in San Diego!"
My phone shows I responded 38 minutes later! :thwak
But thank you for the information! :)

Woho, a new job interview on thursday! Apparently the new owners of the store are also interested in me :)
Good luck! I hope they offer as much money, or more, than the other owners!

Yep still didn't think Age of Ultron was bad. There are moments where it feels forced especially comedy wise but overall still enjoyable. The one I font really get the love for is Guardians, I watched it again the other day and it's just meh. Maybe it's because I was never aware of them, and have no previous interest in the characters.

You are my new favorite Freak! I agree with you 1000%. I enjoyed AOU. Guardians was just OK. I don't understand the hype one bit... I saw it once, and don't care if I see it again (although I probably will eventually). AOU I will be buying.

So it looks like Topps is going to do a vintage-style series of cards. It even has the gum. :yess:

Those are the Topps Heritage cards from 2004. They did the same treatment with Indy too.

I saw that when I searched for them on Google. Pretty cool they did something like that.

Now that it's been a couple of days, I've had some time to digest SDCC15. Honestly, it was kind of a let down for me. Yes, Hot Toys revealed some cool products, but for the most part, I don't collect 1/6. I'm quite certain the new MOTU statues will come out great, but I've never been interested in that sandbox. Kind of surprised that SS didn't have 1 or 2 surprise PFs or something to blow us away. It's kind of sad that a PF shown off last year is being displayed again (Vader), I really think they should have been showing off something else.

I'm excited for the McQ line, but cautiously optimistic because they have been very slow moving with these pieces. Maybe being a big SW year we'll finally see something. I had to get the HT Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise as that's been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid. Hoping Han follows close behind him.

I guess I just expected more, but oh well. More $$ towards vintage SW and a big Cap piece I'm after. What were your thoughts?
