re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Since Disney scrapped the EU, Fett officially died in the pit right? Or did he escape in the Disenyverse too?

Well there is going to be a Fett movie... and I though it was post Sarlacc, but maybe that's just a rumor. Although if he does still die and it's post Sarlacc;a two hours snippet of him writhing in pain as he's slowly digested over a period of 1,000 years could be interesting.

It could be called the Passion of the Fett :lol

I always hated that 1,000 year line from 3PO. It's not like the person who falls in is going to suffer that long. :lol

Yeah, but knowing that your remains will be in there for a millennium before you get pooped out somehow seems worse than "will be digested for 24 hours." It must have to do with the frequency with which people and Banthas happen to fall into the Sarlacc pit, needs to digest slowly or it would die of hunger. As a kid though, I think the line made me think somehow that the Sarlacc would keep people alive all that time.

The Sarlacc must not eat enough fiber...

Yeah, maybe I was overthinking it, but I thought that the Sarlaac absorbed and metabolized its victims into its own body while inducing a horrifying and very long-lasting state of semi-stasis. Sort of assimilating them into it's own bodily structure. Gross.

I had the same thought as a kid too... and whose to say that was not intended. Somehow being kept alive for 1,000 years of suffering. Although part of me also wondered how they could even know that :lol But, a more reasonable one is you die and it takes a long time to digest you.

And after a day like the one in Jedi I'm sure the Sarlacc was good for a long while :lol

I highly recommend Sound Stage Direct, but I'm not sure whether they would get the colored vinyl or regular black vinyl release.
