re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I liked the Rebels line because they work with the limited articulation and the cartoony style, but I think I prefer the more articulated line that started with the Vintage Collection for the movie figures. Those were some of the highest quality 3 3/4 scale figures and felt like definitive versions of many characters in that scale in the modern line. There have been some misses like the most recent Dagobah Luke with his weird arms, but I think overall I prefer the more articulated line. What I don't like is the recent price hike that's brought them up to $12.99 each.

Am I Milhouse in this equation?

I don't care about action figure prices, because they cost me $0.00, because I don't buy them! :pfft:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I've always condsidered myself a Milhouse due to my shy, akward nature and horrible luck.

Damnit! Amazon keeps lowering the price of the GG Stormie. :gah:

Did Hasbro ever say why they made the TFA figures with only 5 POA. I like the nod to vintage, but the high price and modern cardbacks don't work.

I can only assume that it's a cost saving measure. Five molds as opposed to double that has to save a fortune.

They need to stop. I know throwbacks are a huge deal, but why not follow the Vintage Style from 2011/2012 with Vintage cardbacks and keep the articulation. I'd rather a price increase, than a steady price with less articulation. At this point, 6 inch will be 5 POA by 2017.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

People pay thousands for figures with no articulation if that's what they prefer.

I see MadCow more of the bad boy, so that makes him Bart. You're Millhouse. :lecture

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I would guess it's to cut costs. I don't have a problem with it as long as the sculpt and paint are good since mine generally just get put on a stand and go in my detolf.

They are still doing a higher articulation black series for the 3 3/4" figures but it is a WM series. I saw several in the new style packaging this morning - Jedi Luke, Vader and Chewie - but passed because I already have a ton of each though they did loo pretty good. No Kylo or FO Troop though. May go back by later.
