I was an amateur fighter - well used to slugging it out. Then I started fencing. The first few times I faced my instructor, I realized how fast a blade in the hands of someone skilled can end your life.

Doesn't matter how tough you are. Blink of an eye.

Quite humbling. And I thought I knew humility from getting beat on. Blades are some next level ****.
