So after only picking up issue #1 of the new Star Wars comic and deciding I was ok with that... for my birthday my brother got me issues #7-#14 all the action figure variant covers! So now, I am on the hunt to fill spots. hahaha. Bought #15 at the comic shop yesterday and bought a few this morning from a seller on ebay (Chewy, Obi, 3PO, R2, and Leia) but still need these:
#1 Luke figure variant
#2 Han figure variant
#4 Boba figure variant
#7 Boba B&W which I don't think I care too much to get unless I just don't get #4 and get this as a cheaper option perhaps

Also want
#1 Darth Vader figure variant
#1 Lando figure variant

I'll have to research what else is out there... I know there is a young Anakin, but not sure if I want to go after all of them. I'll probably grab a regular #2 and just read the story, and hope that in 10 years I can get Boba and Han at decent prices. :/

Those action figure covers are pretty awesome. I got the digital trades and unfortunately those covers aren't included. With the idea that the comic is supposed to be canon, it is kind of ridiculous, but it's enjoyable when I don't think of it in those terms. Would love to see Brian K. Vaughan take a crack at some SW comics.

100% Agreed. Some of the stuff (especially in the main STAR WARS title) drives me freaking nuts when I realize it's canon.

It was great fun reading those to gear up for TFA but now that the new movie is out I'm finding that I don't really need to follow the Marvel series so much anymore.

As far as I'm concerned Fett is still voiced by Jason Wingreen (RIP,) is still an ex-super-commando turned bounty hunter and his backstory run in with the heroes was the one depicted in The Holiday Special where he was a sneaky bastard who more or less got the best of the heroes.

The only thing I liked that wasn't too over the top was Chewie ripping arms off a droid, since we know it's supposed to be a thing.

The whole series so far reminds me of those old "What If" comics.
