Can I please ask a question of you discerning folks? Sideshow R5D4 or Sideshow Jawas? I think I can only afford one...

R5 is nice but to me 12 back > 20 back. I'd go with the jawas.

It's made by Fox not Disney, so under the banner of X-Men movies.

R5 is really, really nice... I don't get the same feeling with the SS Jawas.

I'm really hoping they will turn out to be good. Would go great with my Sandtroopers.

The short film released today about the start of episode VIII filming makes me wonder if we'll see a TFA Luke; and if we did, what would be the point in getting it when they're bound to do an Episode VIII Luke that will be similar but better?

HT will bleed the Star Wars licenses dry. Look at what they've done with the Batman licenses and how many they revisited characters for even the smallest of "upgrades"

I wouldn't be shocked if Luke got a TFA and an Episode VIII version, same with Rey in her end of TFA costume and then an Episode VIII version even if they look the same.

Thanks for the responses about R5D4 vs. Jawas everyone. Yes, I'm trying to keep to the 12 back run, too - so the Jawas do make sense in that respect. The thing is, here in Australia I'm looking at $200 AUD for R5D4 vs. $350 AUD for Jawas, and that's a significant difference...

Some guy here in Sweden is doing a lottery on Facebook with a bunch of MOC vintage figures instead of just selling them. I just had to enter, you pick a number/numbers between 1-50, and pay about $7.50 per number and week. And one person wins a figure every friday.

Nice score, mfoga. At least if you stick to the vintage carded style ones there are only a few. VOTC and TVC (probably a couple versions with different offers but the same cards).

I was thinking any of the carded versions. I already have most of the POTF2 and the newer black ones. I am trying to figure how many more carded R2s there are.
