Beautiful! :clap

Deadpool was great. I was confused about two things -

1. Was this made under the Disney/Marvel brand?
2. If that was a Helicarrier he was on, what kind was that?

Guess what Slynger? You were right.

Apparently production conceptual art came out that was actually titled "Helicarrier" and it was leaked that the production team decided to put it in and change it enough to make it recognizable but not recognizable to send them to court, same with Bob.

Deadpool was great. But you know your old when not one person in the theater get the reference after the credits and they all look at you when you laugh right when it starts :slap

Closed on the house today! Moving this weekend, which means my stuff finally gets to come out of storage. Next, designing and finishing the basement!

I just placed an order on Sideshow's site and I got this cute little thank you video afterward. It made me so angry that I punched a big hole in my brick wall.

End credits scene was great... even before it started and the credits were rolling, I thought to myself... ya know, for an end credit scene it would be funny if they spoofed ***** ******... that would fit perfect with Deadpool humor/4th wall stuff... and then I saw the scene started and I lol'd. Perfect.

I self edited above as to not spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet.

The cartoons in the credits were as good as the movie, not to mention the random addons to the names and titles.

Yeah it made complete sense.

The Cantina? On page 2? Oh hell no.

Deadpool is definitely up there with one of my favorite comic book movies. The whole experience was fantastic especially as a comic book nerd who knew what to expect going in. I was really fearful they'd toss out the fourth wall stuff or water it down in the actual film and I was pleasantly surprised.

I've been making vintage custom droids all day. It's been a fun little experience.

Good week off
Casino with my Dad...lost money
Dinner with my college girls
Deadpool with son...it was ok
Painted an entire room
Fixed many things around house
Chinese lunch with my wife
Tomorrow is our 12th anniversary. ..so hopefully a happy ending to the week

What's the ETA on that version?

He's actually been done since September (after 3+ years of painstaking work). He was going to just release it free on the internet ala Team Negative. However, some of the people who consulted on his project (including Harrison Ellenshaw, Lorne Peterson and others who actually worked on the film) suggested he first see if Disney/LFL/Fox might be interested in using his version for an official release. So that meeting & official presentation is actually happening sometime this year. Not sure when, though. But trust me it will be worth the wait. It's immaculate from first frame to the last. And it's in full 4K.

Fingers crossed the Disney/LFL/Fox agree to use his and release it officially to the world at some point. He's not even asking for any $, only that they let him and his consultants oversee the mastering of any official release.

Harmy and Team Negative will do in the meantime, though. :)
