I hope to... BUT! I'm starting to get sick. It's in my chest and throat. If it's the same thing my parents had recently, it took them 4-5 WEEKS to recover! They were MISERABLE for 3 weeks. I have a bad feeling about this...

I did buy a 100 pound amazon.co.uk gift card this morning, however. I'm going to apply it to my Ralph McQuarrie book (which is 90.68 pounds). The book could come out to $124.30, based on the rate earlier today. But it really depends on what the rate is when the charge posts to my credit card.

Don't get travelers checks that's old school and not accepted as much as before.

You should be able to buy currency through your bank. Watch the rate and then either order it to be shipped or buy in the bank depends on the branch. After that just use your ATM to get cash you get better rate than currency exchange at airport but buy larger amounts at a time don't do 20 here 20 there. I usually get about $100-200 in local currency depending how long I will be there and then also use my Credit cards with no foreign transaction fee for larger purchases.
