re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Had the most wonderful evening with GrueSam. Fine Thai food, and hours of enjoyable conversation, that was both entertaining and therapeutic at the same time.

Sam is a freak of the highest order. She is at once authentic, engaging, fanatic, caring, smart, empathetic, knowledgeable, and beautiful...

Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, I wonder what it would be like to be straight. ;)

Thanks for a great night out Sam, just venting and geeking out! :D

I needed that.

someday i will meet sam

Went to a classic car show here today. They don't make them like that anymore. :lecture

If you ever make it to Daytona for the Turkey Rod run, hit me up!!! Its at the Daytona 500 track. Some of the best classics show up, for sale or trade! Saw a nice 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger, classic bumble bee yellow with a small block!!!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Just picked up my first AFA MOC vintage Star Wars figure. :D

Won't be making this a habit though. I'm strictly involved in collecting the droids only, and not even all of them. Definitely want an Artoo on each films card back. Definitely also want an R5 on SW, and maybe a Power Droid on SW...

Time will tell. ;)

Thanks fellas! :D

Nobody even asked me what I sprung for. MC - I'm definitely going to get an animated Artoo at some point, but I'm leaning heavily toward loose AFA. I actually never watched the show, that I can remember, but the figure is just too cool. Of course, pics will be coming the instant I crack the figure open. However, he's coming a long way, across the pond, from Ireland. So the wait begins.

And speaking of loose figures! My three droids arrived today! :panic:

/me runs off to open up that package!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Dammit! This always happens to me. The seller sent me a "sensorscope" Artoo from 1981, instead of the 1977 Artoo which was actually shown in the auction.

Off to message him... :(

I got something cool in the mail today. Just unpacked it and had to take a pic.

That's because I already know. :thwak
