Here's a one-word synopsis of the evening:
FANTASTIC

We had a really really REALLY good night. I've honestly never laughed so hard in my life. We talked about things you'd never think people would talk about, such as beaver secretions (seriously). It was the most fun I've had in a long long time... Now obviously nothing "happened" romantically. But she really had a good time, and we've already discussed making plans to go out again soon. I'm not getting my hopes up about anything. I'm sure I'm currently in the "friend zone" but I guarantee she's evaluating things. I could tell from the way she looked at me last night...

Note: I found out her BF lives 2 hours away. It's a long distance relationship... Those always have a chance of failure...

Also of note, our "relationship", no matter how you want to classify it, has motivated me to lose weight. I lost 10 pounds in the last week, and will continue to do so. If I lose 6 more pounds, I'll be at my lowest weight since 2005. I know this, because it was when I flew from Celebration III to London, when I worked overseas and attended the ROTS Premiere in Leicester Square. I know that's when I started to gain weight, due to eating on the company's dime.

Glad to hear you had a great time.

Now you can listen to everyone about being cautious and waiting OR you can do what I did. My wife was in a relationship with another guy and he was nowhere on my level for taking care of her. I knew and she knew it. So I pretty much forced my way in, proved myself, and won her over. To this day I make sure she knows everyday that I Love her and no other man will ever treat her better than me.

If he tries to confront you, just let him know that he isn't doing a good job otherwise she wouldn't be interested in you and he already lost cause you're not going to let him get the edge again. Just make sure you mean it.

Going back to that toy shop you took us too is a definite must! Been dying to go back there.
This makes me sad... (ie, jealous) That place was awesome! However, going during a Celebration trip, keep in mind that your luggage may not have as much space!

Interesting. This is good to know! I certainly am forcing my way in, I'm just not making an drastic moves on her... It's very clear that she knows my interest, and I'm pretty darn sure she has shown interest. But I don't want to put her in an uncomfortable situation (well, probably too late). On our next date, I plan on discussing the "situation" to see what her thoughts are... Last night we had a great conversation, and I showed her my bad humor (I've been holding back til now).
She is Lutheran, and is a teacher in a Lutheran school. She made a Spider-Man reference to me yesterday (which was awesome BTW). She said she likes to live high up, because she feels safe knowing that only Spider-Man could get into her condo. I told her that many villains can climb or fly as well... But this made me think of Superman, and I came up with a few Superman jokes which I shared with her.
If Superman worked at her school, what name would his alter-ego have?
CLARK LENT
Who would his arch-enemy be?
LEX LUTHERAN
I know, I know, I told you they were bad jokes. But I'm full of bad jokes, so she needs to get used to that if we're meant to be... Thankfully, she was laughing her head off! :)

:clap I approve of those jokes. Very witty.
I don't buy a whole lot during Celebrations usually other than the exclusive figures etc. I always fly Southwest so I have an extra empty suitcase to fill up for the trip back if need be. :D

That's really why I like it.... I have Luke, Boba and Chewie with Leia and Ben on order.... I like the look to stand out, and that Ben will do just that compared to a simple plain look.
