I went to a Hallmark yesterday, asked where their SW stuff was, and they said "we don't have any SW items right now. Just a C3PO itty bitty. That's it." Ugh. Went to another store today, but didn't find much. Just a Luke X-Wing with Itty Bitty (sent pics to Waller right away) but nothing Yoda. I know they carry MANY Yoda items that I want, but maybe they sold out of them. With the 25% off sale today, I would have spent some money, but there was nothing for me to buy. And I would have given you the Ackbar, Rick. No Yoda pin, so I didn't care about em...
I did buy the Ahsoka itty bitty online yesterday though. Had $4 in rewards certs, so she only cost me 4 bucks...
I did the same! That's a nice hi-res image! Could print it out and frame it! Just a bit smaller... They didn't make a Yoda print in that line yet, right? I'd buy that one, and only that one...*right click, save.

The 501st Romanian Outpost is lead by a guy who seems to easily approve recasts of known helmets, in this case Master Replicas Collector's Edition/EFX Precision Cast. MR CE/ EFX PCR are not approvable for 501st unless heavily modded, but shown there on their table you can see the recast.
A few days ago, when the guy who recast this helmet contacted me for the first time, some of his first words, after I asked why he wanted to talk to me, were these (in Romanian of course):
"Well ... I do not know how it will sound .... If you agree, I can duplicate any piece in the collection .... for free"
My reply:
"No, thanks. I am totally against the idea of a recast."
Then I explained on the Romanian group that what he is doing is not ok, and especially selling the recast for almost the same money as the original. He is selling his ugly copy for $180, while the original is around $200. The weird thing is no legion member from Romanian 501st agreed with me, in fact one member asked why am I concerned if he sells his helmets, since he doesn't hurt me personally, despite this guy clearly stating on one of his posts that 501st officially encourage recasting. 501st say clearly no recasts condoned.
I offered to help people find good accurate helmets, for nice affordable prices, licensed ones. Heck if you want a good cheap helmet, for display purposes, go with Hasbro Rogue One Stormie. No one seemed interested... I know recasting is hard to understand, there are tons and tons of topics about the slight differences and borderlines, but this was not the case. He recasted a still in production EFX Stormtrooper helmet, and sold it for the same amount of $. After the entire discussion I got a PM from him asking if he can still visit my collection LOL. I gave up and decided to let everyone pay the money they want to whom they want.

Yeah, people are getting used to recasting and plagiarism so they don't feel it is offensive anymore.
