Slept in until 9 this morning. Haven't done that in a very, very long time.

Had a blast last night at a low light/tac training and movement course. Several hours of moving with live fire with only our weapon lights and ambient light allowed. We each did about 800 to 1000 rounds of rifle and pistol combined. A great course. It's already being tweaked for a different course this winter and with snow on the ground. Looking forward to that.

Hell yea. The wife and I were just talking about how we think we have surpassed christmas with the decorating at halloween. I just wish it was as popular for the kids now as it was when i was a kid. Every year We get maybe 10 trick or treaters at the door on halloween........

We don’t get very many either. One reason is because we live in a neighborhood with lots of retired people, so there are very few kids in here. Another reason is smaller towns like the one I live in love doing stuff like Trunk or Treat at some of the churches and even the mall does trick or treating. Those take a lot of kids away from regular door-to-door trick or treating.
