Luck or know someone. Smaller venues you never know though. Me and my GF went and saw Weezer at a small venue and we are out front after the concert and I look over and there is Rivers just hanging out. Had maybe a minute before the mob saw him. He then took pics and signed autographs.

Usually at small venues if you hang around outside the people will come out. I've met several bands that way. As long as you have some time to kill and scatter from time to time when the bouncers tell you not hang around eventually they come out to wherever their bus is parked.

Cool video. I loved the playsets as a child and still have all my original SW toys. They just don't make playsets and vehicles like they did back then.
