Every time I look at that I think it looks great then I just hear the word 'rivets' from the ether and it puts me off.

I wish you hadn't reminded me... I know there's both good and bad, about both versions... But the price is right. $225, and I get 5% back on my Amazon card, which basically covers my tax. Plus I had $40 in GC's to use. Net cost OOP was under $187.

At that kind of price I don’t blame you. I was sorely tempted myself and it’s only $11 shipping to the UK. It’s the import duty that kills it though. I’ll probably end up getting a HT one (I know it’s techincally a TFA version but it’s close enough for me). I must admit I agree with Talibane though... the coatin in the dome of the HT one really takes away from it being metal. It may as well just be painted.

I am positively getting it. $700 ain't bad, and I have over $400 in rewards points saved. I'm not springing for the $2500 life-size one, but I'm definitely getting this one. It's beautiful!!! I'm curious about the edition size as well, but I can't imagine they'll make more than 2000, probably less... Just an uneducated guess...
