You watch the Hobbit lately? My brother borrowed my copy and I want it back!! When is the EE release date?

I haven't. I'm going to spend a couple days and watch The Hobbit and all the EE for The Lord of the Rings when school gets out. Last, I heard was sometime in Oct/Nov.

I heard from GrueSam that the reason the films are so long in the theater is because they are the extended versions already. I was like, what! I'm holding out on buying An Unexpected Journey, because I don't want to double and triple dip any more.

But, if anyone would know, it would be her. And Josh.

That was a rumor going around that this was the case. However, there is an EE coming with 20-30 more mintues on it.

I'm more excited about The Muppet Movie coming out on BD. I have the DVD, and the quality is TERRIBLE! It needs to be remastered badly...

I'll probably just buy the non-3D EE and call it a day...
I'm more excited about The Muppet Movie coming out on BD. I have the DVD, and the quality is TERRIBLE! It needs to be remastered badly...

I don't expect the EE to be in 3D. Which for me isn't an issue but if you're really into 3D it could be.

No problem. If you're waiting for the EE then you're holding out with something at the end. Its able to be done with some of the extra material being added in.
