Happy 30th, Return of the Jedi. This is the theater in Houston I saw many movies at growing up, including this one.

I don't know. I really don't need any sets right now. Just waiting for the new ones from LOTR and the summer Star Wars sets.

I wish I could remember when exactly I saw it. I'm not good with dates like some people. I imagine I saw it opening weekend with my parents at Meyerland. Ah, the days of long lines at blockbuster movies. The dark time before multiplexes.

My mom took me, my brother, and my sisters to see Return of the Jedi. Auburn Mall Twin Cinemas. Probably not opening weekend, because my youngest sister was 3, but I remember the theater being pretty full.

I remember my mom letting me stay home to see it on opening day. We waited on line for the doors to open and she bought me a program. I was only 5, no clue how I remember it though considering I can't remember last week.

We saw it again like 5 times as well as a double feature with Empire Strikes Back. Those were the days....
