But damn you for leading me on a goose chase to find a picture of my old theater from back in the day. To no avail. It was this really cool spot, the theater only had two screens, but the building was shaped like two circles smashed together, so each theater had a curved screen, like concave. I remember lining up around either side of the structure, but inside where there were walls of glass and entering one or the other theaters from basically the back of the building. So now I've found it's been torn down since either 1987 or 1990. And was built in 1969! I haven't actually been home since 1998!
Anyway, this was the Pembroke Mall Theater in Va. Beach, or it became a Cineplex Odeon later in its life. Was also called an Ultra something or other in its early years. Thanks for waking me up...
No, actually I'm up because of the puppies. They're like an alarm clock, and if you're lucky they go off at 6 AM, but usually it's more like 5:30...
