re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh, I'm on there. I just don't ever tweet. I use it more as a tool to be updated on what new stuff is being released in the collectible/poster community.

I'd have to read up on it a little to understand it. Facebook makes more sense to me at this point, although I kind of hate it.

I'm on there and sometimes I get tweets from people I'm not following and I kind of don't like that. I think they're tagging the thing I'm following and that's why I see it.

I think I'm going to follow you Shropt.

You guys can follow me if you want. I don't say anything there. My profile picture is pretty funny, though.

@BSchwalbach23

JESUS Ben, you're 12!

Another month... so is he coming in July now?

The trip was great, saw a lot of cool stuff I never expected to see and more that I didn't even know existed. Eastern Europe really has some beautiful cities and countryside :rock

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yup, July... I'm going to have to buy something just to tide me over now. :lol

Yeah man, I was blown away by some of the pics you posted. I bet you were pretty happy to get home and see your daughter, I know that after a short business trip of 5 days I can't wait to see my son. :lol

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I don't even like FB all that much... not sure I can get on the Twitter bandwagon without felling like a complete ******. :(

BTW, R2 looks to be coming along pretty well!

Indeed. I'm intentionally taking my time with him. There are 9 bags total that you do in sets. I'm doing 1 bag at a time which is around 45min-1 hour work each. I'm really enjoying the slow progression.

Yeah, feel the same way. I have a few friends that are true globetrotters so I can see the purpose of FB for them, but for most people it really seems like overkill and a waste of time.

As for Twitter... ugh. I have no interest in being bombarded all day long with that sort of minutiae (let alone ever taking the time to tweet something). I can see Boba Ben's point of creating an account to keep up with release info on licenses one's interested in but I get that all second-hand and pretty much up-to-the minute by visiting these boards, so can't be bothered to sign-up for that purpose alone.

Just to be clear, I'm not ragging on anyone that enjoys it, just not my thing at all and I want everyone to know it! :p

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I've been posting them on Facebook. You on there?

Ditched it like a used hooker.

Miss the updates, though, as I was friends on there with several of you guys. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I love this type of stuff. Even scratched to Hell, it's awesome!

And what an amazing set. That would be all green screen nowadays. :monkey1

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Sooooo damn cool! We had it so good back in the day. Really, how lucky were we that we grew up SW kids? The craftsmanship of the props, sets and costumes are just second to none, not to mention the design!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Even though I knew Star Wars wasn't real back then, I still couldn't shake how real it was in my head.

All of that work is why. All of that stuff was real.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's a great vid, hadn't seen that before, thanks for sharing it dev.
