Son of a _____! Now that song is stuck in my head:mad:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I need some help from you guys who dabble in customizing. My Lando figure arrived today, but he's missing some paint on the nose and hair. Do any of you have some good paint options that will match Lando's skin tone and hair? I'm not a very good painter, but I want to try to fix him.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Get a 1/6 Colt .45 and have him hold it in front of his nose.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

The tip of his nose is caucasian. :(

I don't even drink, but I do love those Colt .45 commercials.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Hopefully galactiboy and Flosi can give you some tips. I don't have an ounce of customizing skills in my body. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So what you're saying is, Lando is a white noser?

I'm not sure, but I think that's racist.

REPORTED!!!!

PM Ski, maybe he can help you out. It'll be tough to paint match him if your inexperienced.

Good luck BB.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Thanks fellas. Skin tone is never very easy to match. I once tried to customize a Vasquez to have more olive colored skin back in the day and she ended up looking like she had bubble gum skin. Don't want to go through that again.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

With Lando I'd just try to mix a brown that is fairly close and then lightly blend the tip of the nose into the base of the nose. That way even if the match isn't 100% its close enough and the blending will make it look like it was intentional. If you look at someone's nose its a different color (usually a bit darker) than the rest of the face.

Use acrylic paint and if you hate it you can always remove it before it dries and try again.

Mine had the same issues, Ben. The hair in an easy fix. Use black then dry brush over that with some grey to match the rest. The skin will take a bit of time to mix right. Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, black and white... Heavier on the Umber and black. I can do it for you if you want, just LMK.

Or like KD said, you can ask Ski to repaint it 100%.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

we are now in the right section baby!!!!!..............:yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I was going to say the same thing. I couldn't understand why this thread was in the statues section.

The planets are back in their correct places, now.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, I know the other section is for all stuff that isn't action figures (which this thread is kind of about everything) but I think the majority of the regular posters lean more towards action figures.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Action figure = noob section
Statues = elite section

So you guys want to be in the noob section? So sad.
