re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Which was what I felt this Celebration. There was tons of stuff, but not a lot of must have stuff. I had fun going around with my friends. I found some vintage pieces that I will always remember I found with Flosi and Joseph or a print or patch I came across with John.

... and when I picked up those signed McQuarrie prints on the first day with Stormy. :1-1:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Celebration was my first multi-day Con. Usually I'll do the Friday of NYCC and end up walking the floor all day as not to miss anything. I stupidly used this mentality at Celebration most of the weekend and wasted too much time. I should've been in panels or lines for signings with you guys. That leads to my other stupid move, spending too much time alone while there. I've always had a really bad habit of separating myself from people. "I'm a loner, Dottie. A rebel." And as much I tried to break that habit, it got the better of me again. So I sincerely apologize if it seemed like I was ditching anyone or if I just didn't seem around. I should've spent more time making memories with you guys.
It's funny, but I had the opposite problem! I didn't spend nearly enough time in the exhibit hall, so I missed a bunch of stuff there. It would have also been a great place to bum around with you guys. Instead, when I wasn't working, I was in panels pretty much non-stop. I did enjoy the panels, but I really wish I had a better ratio of Hall to Panel time...
I'm definitely glad I got to meet you, and spend some time with you Saturday night. It's always nice to put a face to a name! And you didn't seem like a jerk at all! The other guys were totally wrong!

All that plays a part. His health does as well. So it's a mixed bag of things for him. We've had a good ride though so I'm glad to get one more time with him. That's why I avoid those two rooms. I'd rather walk around and maybe catch a panel or two in smaller rooms. There is a line for everything. That's for damn sure. I will say I love the madness though even if it is crazier than when I started. This will be the first time in a long time that I haven't had an exhibitors badge. So no getting in early for me.
You had an exhibitor badge at SDCC? You lucky bastard! That's gold, Joshy, gold!!! I love having that at Celebration. I can't imagine how awesome it would be at SDCC!

I wish I had spent more time with you and the others. :monkey2

Edit: That being said, I had a great ****ing time overall. The parties/dinners were off the hook and will forever be some of the greatest times I've spent with anyone. Thank you!

Quoted for absolute truth. The one time I used that stupid ****ing VIP badge to see Mark Hamill, I ended up being alone from about 6:30 all the way to 9:30 Saturday night. It was the loneliest I was during the entire con, and it sucked walking the dark streets of Anaheim back to the condo and out to the restaurant. I won't be making that mistake again.

But at the same time, I basically did whatever I wanted to do during the entire convention. :D

I wish I had that badge, just for the early shopping I could have done in the store. I'm still sad I didn't get the things I wanted. I figured I could buy em on Ebay for twice the price. I wish they were that cheap! I'm not paying $130 for a t-shirt...

Triple J will know exactly what I'm talking about.

I honestly missed you, and wish we had more quality time together. But I also understand your commitment to the collecting track of panels, etc. ;)

Ask GB about this. The badge didn't seem to help in the store at all... :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Glad to see everyone had a great time, I can only imagine how awesome it must have been. Is there a thread where you guys posted pics?

Give it a few weeks those prices will drop. Plus I wouldn't be shocked if they made more to sell online in the next few weeks.

Indeed :lecture Which I will no remember everytime I look at them on my wall :1-1:

**** your friend. Your friend is stupid! :lol

Exactly ! Just because you know him forever does not give him the right to make you feel inferior or bad about yourself in any way.
We would never do this to you :1-1:
He is not worth of you.

And this is what bothers me about gettiing the VIP badge.
Though I would like to get it to help people get stuff inside the hall if I can.

Yeah that is nuts ! I am a little sad I missed it but not $130 sad.

But not to the corny parties we told you to not bother with ! :thwak

I am hoping if anyone goes to C2E2 they can keep an eye out for one for me

I didn't get to spend much time with quite a few Freaks, but I did enjoy what time I had with them. This place is my extended family, so it was priceless meeting and hanging with everyone.

I was jealous at first when you ran off to do the panel, but not so much after hearing this.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Sounds like it was a good time. I am going to the next one in Orlando. No excuses this time.

Today's Tee Fury shirt is right up Kenben's alley. I bet he doesn't see this post until tomorrow. :lol

I did. Actually, I've had one the last 6-7 years. It's made taking pictures and video a much easier task. So I think I'm going to miss it quite a bit this year.
