It's actually easier with the Keyboard and mouse IMO. It's weird at first but you get use to it. I find that my aim is far more precise with the mouse.

I remember playing Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 with the controller and then switching over to the PC, holy hell was it easier to play and the ingame combat with the keyboard and mouse was superbly better.

Oh, that and I didn't have that constant jerk in the graphics anymore. God I hate lag. :lol

FPS is 1000x times better on PC because those games started with keyboard/mouse, you can get so much better precision with a mouse.

Consoles will never give you hardware with the specs to play a game like TOR the way it's supposed to be played. And then there's the whole keyboard and mouse issue.. Now, they could very well get into cloud gaming in the next gen. Could be intersting.

Ummm not really. Have you seen the specs for Old Republic? I installed and played it on my 4 year old laptop with a Core 2 Duo processor.
And the PS3 if fully capable of supporting keyboards. I know because I have a bluetooth keyboard paired with mine, and it works perfectly fine. I doubt getting a mouse to do the same thing is very difficult.

What settings do you have it on because I tried playing it on my 2 year old 3.5 core2 duo, 4gb ram notebook, and I couldn't get past medium settings?

I think next gen consoles will be completely different from what people are expecting. There is talk of being able to play xbox 360 games on the PC, as well as the announcement of a Connect device coming to the PC as well. There is even talk of one major console manufacturer bowing out of the console war entirely.

I didnt buy into the major company bowing out. Will never happen. Infact there is talk of Apple bringing out a next gen console which I think could be pretty awesome.
Also Alienwares pc/console which can be upgraded by opening the lid looks interesting.

I would never rule out getting a gaming pc but my console plays great games, is user friendly never goes wrong!

Medium settings without tweaking anything. My point is that a 4 year old computer can run it now what makes you think a newly designed console wouldn't be able to do it?

I doubt any of them will be dropping out either. Sony is making money on PS3s now so it wouldn't be smart to drop out while the Vita is launching, MS seems to be in it for the longhaul, and Nintendo appears to be happy catering to the casual crowds.

I hope Apple doesn't throw their hat in the console market. There's already oversaturation, and jumping in now would risk another console failure on their part. Stick with mobile gaming please!!

Id like to see what apple come up with. I wouldn't say Im an apple freak but whenever I get something apple, it usually impresses me!
I know some people might not agree but another rival, especially apple, would maybe speed up the console lifespan.
Technology on the whole advances so quickly now and the current consoles are feeling a bit dated now. If goes to plan, the next gens release 2014, I cant see the games advancing a great deal.
Seems like sony and microsoft respectively are feeling the kinect and move will extend there're life but they have hardly set the world alight!
I still wouldn't be surprised if microsoft showcase at E3 and release a new machine end of 2012, early 2013.

There's no chance Apple will make a video game console, there's no market for another. In fact, I'd almost be surprised if we don't go through the next console without losing one of the major consoles.

No doubt. I'm a Apple supporter, and trying to decide if I want to use some of my tax return to buy an iMac next month. It would certainly allow me to play some of the more recent games I can't play on my dated MBP. Of course I'd still need to buy Windows 7 which I really don't want to do, but I feel that XP has run its course.

With the more competition aspect, sure I usually go with more is better but now I'm thinking 3 is enough. Anymore is pushing ridiculous, especially when "Exclusive" games aren't really that exclusive anymore. There's only one or two on each console that remain truly exclusive. I'm still ________ that Mass Effect is no longer a 360 console exclusive.

Yeah, I think three is the sweet spot too. Especially since I'm an idiot and would then have to buy four consoles every generation. Three is better for me.

If they did they'd have a new model out every year to six months.

All the Apple conformists would buy it... even those who don't play games. :lol

"Think Same"

How so? The console industry understands how to bring life to each specs. :cuckoo:

You keep doing this :cuckoo: and you're going to end up drilling a whole in your head. :lol

All I'm saying is you can get more "life" with a better GC than what they plan to put into it, if the rumor is true. :lol

No you can't. :lecture

You constantly have to upgrade. Why do you think people instantly ask the question "can my pc run this" when a new game is announced?

dont play as often these days, but every once and a while i get the urge to smash sum Nazi Zombies, the XBox quenches that thirst perfectly
