i bought a pc just for games, but i have to say i just dont get into a game on pc as much as i get into a game on a console
Same goes for modern warfare (i know many will disagree), but god damn i rather chew my fingers off than trying to aim with a thumb controller...

I can never understand how ppl can play a FPS with the thumb stick...

What I see happening is that video games will be offered as a service, so stuff like Onlive or something like that. You might pay for the video games service like you do your TV and internet. In which case consoles would be dead and essentially all games would be PC. It could happen as soon as this next generation is done.
I will have the rest of my new pc parts in 2 weeks.

Consoles aren't going anyplace anytime soon and won't be replaced as the top dog anytime soon. Its great people prefer PC gaming but its not for me I much rather play on my 360 or PS3. For all of those that feel the other that's totally great for you.
Can't they do the same thing for consoles?
Ok so my girlfriend and I are looking to get new computers to game on. We both want to build our own but are kind of new to it. We don't want to just go out and buy everything we need for a PC without knowing what is what and what is compatible with each other.
Is there and online resource that helps newbies build PC's or at least learn about it?
