Wow, nothing. I expected to wake up to loads. Disney really brought down the hammer on pre-teases.

Wonder what is Disney time? 9am PST...? Noon? Probably noon.

All 3 Praetorians, Rey and Kylo are revealed by other companies. Don't know why HTs aren't revealing theirs... Can't spend too much time on FB at work, if not I will scroll through their FB for last FF to see how many things actually got announced...

Hot Toys is a company that produce less volume higher priced items. TFA stuff is still hanging around, heavily discounted all over the place.
They would be mad to risk a run of figures like last time. I thought there might have been a chance of a Jedi training Rey but I doubt we will see many figures from this film. The licence is too rich in character number and fans have invested years in characters that are as yet unmade.

Give me a BDW Lando in any costume over any of this stuff is just one of numerous examples.

I don't think I saw any OT stuff from any lines, like SH Figuarts or anything for Force Friday. It was all TLJ. Still surprised nothing really from HT.

As noted, they changed the banner on facebook back to Anakin. Perhaps something will be posted shortly. The trooper went up yesterday around 11am. Maybe something similar is afoot today.

Anakin was a SDCC reveal. From July. Shouldn't be counted as part of Force Friday.

I don't think the lack of reveals of have anything to do with Disney, unless, because HT figures are just so incredibly detailed, they want to keep things under wraps for now.

But with Hasbro/Figuarts/etc putting out full lineups yesterday, and with most of the characters being shown in their new costumes already in various outlets like Entertainment weekly, there's really nothing that HT could put out that we haven't already seen.

Very curious as to why they didn't show anything worthwhile, but I don't think it's a Disney/Lucasfilm demand. I think HT just didn't show anything.

In the past Troopers have been the reveals. Kylo is the exception. So that could be it or maybe a couple other Troopers. I wouldn't count on any big reveals. We haven't gotten anything Original Trilogy in the past and they already put up Anakin earlier this week so I don't expect anything too big coming.

I agree, it was great that he went up for PO this week. I was worried he would be withheld until after all the Ep. VIII stuff was offered.

Disney has an agenda and it forces its license holders to participate. I doubt Hot Toys and Disney agreed on just the Executioner Trooper as their contribution.

Also, probably the best money made on TFA junk was the 3 months BEFORE the movie opened -- right when the hype was peak. So why wouldn't HT PO now as much as they're allowed?


I still think there's more to come. However, if this Force Friday is a bust for HT, it's just further evidence that HT just doesn't give a crap about anniversaries, Force Fridays, blu ray releases, etc, that many newbs here still believe they do.
