IMO, no caps isn't as bad as it isn't read as yelling or being aggressive like in my latter two examples, but I recommend adhering to proper sentence/paragraph structure and grammar to the best of your ability, simply for the sake of ease of reading for other users. If your posts are difficult for people to read, they may not bother to do so. You don't have to be perfect, no one in their right mind should expect that, but we all learned at least the basics, so include them in your posting.

Don't forget to arch your pinky when posting. :lecture

Did someone say paragraph? :lol :thwak

A paragraph break wasn't necessary there. It was 3 sentences forming a complete thought. It's 4 lines of text unless you have a tiny monitor, enlarged text, or are viewing on a mobile device. If I were to format for those, I'd have to paragraph break after every sentence.

:lol I'm messing with you :wink1:
I'm on my mobile and it just looks like a block of text. :gah: :rotfl

i was banned for negative comments and what was considered bashing, i guess. i don't see any difference but really, what IS the difference. it's established some are treated differently than others. i suggest getting over it. that's what i'm doing. :lecture

Well, either there's a difference in the way people are treated, or there's a difference in the way people express themselves when they share a negative opinion. I don't know how you expressed yourself. I don't know the context. I don't know if it was reported or not. I don't know how you reacted when confronted by the moderators.

What I do know is that people who have been here longer are more familiar to--and with--the moderators. We know each other, and have for years. If you don't think that any one of us could pull something banworthy right now, and not get it right between the eyes, you are severely mistaken.

So, what that tells me is that the difference is probably in the difference you're not seeing.

I dont understand the need for people to constantly frequent threads about products they're not interested in / don't like / are disappointed with etc.
Post once or twice, share you OPINION and move on to something else. .... that being said, Ive somewhat accepted we live in a whiney, temper-tantrum throwing internet society now.

Its very obvious who has had a coddled life and gets butt hurt when things aren't to their liking.....
People waste so much time being ....

I've never understood that either. There are certain people who love to show how much they hate a figure and want to make sure everyone knows it. You see it all the time in SW threads. I guess they think it's fun pissing in other peoples' cereal.

Just saw this and since I was involved with the matter that got Darkmatter banned ill add my 2 cents..

You were a douche and seemingly crazy.. the whole matter with Username was insane to say the least (im referring to the emails you or your father sent)... and on that note I'll add that im still confused because those emails stated you were disabled and implied that you may have been a kid? (teenager)

but since then I have seen you post about you yourself having kids and being older (30+ I think) So that confuses me a bit...

Anyways on another note, since your banning you have been a very nice guy and seem to add to conversations, I have even complimented your comments and been pretty open to you so sorry if you feel that people are still jumping on you, I make it a point not to as youre doing nothing wrong

In regards to etiquette on here I personally hate seeing new pointless threads started daily (mainly by people with 50- posts) so It gets irritating and hard to just skip it over.. I like to give out lashings so to speak as it seems to be the only deterrent.

There is an inner circle so to speak of people who get away with things others might get infracted or banned for, thats pretty common knowledge...
