Is it stupid? That's a matter of perspective. To someone who doesn't own an intellectual property, yes. To those of us who value what we create, no. Is it selfish? Wanting to control something you own, isn't. Wanting free reign over something without paying for it, well, you be the judge.
Sadly CelticP, I think it's irrelevant. Some of the posts here further prove the diminishing of a respectable society into what I call the entitlement generation. How can you hold someone accountable for their own actions in a society like this?
