Cool! What are you getting your doctorate in? I finished mine up last year, and it was a massive relief! Of course don't count on being able to do big giveaways! Student loans are slamming me now!

Freaktacular Secret Santa 2015​

I know it's a bit early, but let’s get this going! I don’t want this to be stressful for anyone—there’s already a lot going on for people this time of year—but there need to be some ground rules.

If you say you’re going to participate THEN PARTICIPATE. If anyone gets a gift and doesn’t send one then I’m personally banning them from any contests I hold here. I’ll also announce it in the Freaktacular thread so everyone knows you didn’t reciprocate. We didn't have a problem last year so let's not start now.

Gift value of around $20. If you want to surprise someone with more then that’s your prerogative—I’m sure the lucky person won't complain.

Send your gift so it will be received before Christmas, and we can all post what we got starting Christmas day.

Send me a PM with:

1. Your name and shipping address.

2. State whether or not you will send a gift overseas (one way to avoid overseas shipping costs may be to buy something directly from that country’s Amazon website and have it ship from there).

3. Include an license/character of interest just to give your Secret Santa an idea of what you like--this doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed anything related to it but for those that want the information they’ll have it.

When I get a PM, I’ll add your name to the list and keep it updated in the Freaktacular thread.


Let me know you want to participate by Tuesday, 12/1/2015. You’ll get paired up and information sent to you before the weekend. Gifts will probably need to be sent by around 12/15-12/17 at the latest to make sure they get there by Christmas.

Yep, it certainly is tempting me! I had been looking at the Han and Chewie set for a while, and am now getting really stoked about TFA. Definitely interested in a few figures from that entry into the SW universe.

For those who may have missed it:

I'm really trying to reel in my wants with all that is Star Wars really coming out so great lately...and there's SO much more on deck! It's just so tough. I haven't received any Hot Toys yet, but I have orders in for Han, Chewie, Obi-Wan, Leia and Luke. Also have the new First Order Stormtroopers 2-pack on order, as well as Kylo Ren. Phasma will be joining that PO list when she's likely revealed later this week! We haven't even entered all the new characters that'll be revealed closer to/after the movie, as well as Old Han, Old Luke, Old Leia...

Hot Toys is really nailing it! I'm eager to see what Sideshow has to offer on the PF front, though I'm guessing I'll have to wait a while to get past anything other than Kylo, Phasma and lots of varying Troopers.
