Smile Grandpa Jor-El... it's Christmas dude! :rotfl

Thanks GZL for the awesome pics and for organizing the Secret Santa.

Here are my Secret Santa gifts.

Thanks so much, LaMelnik! Out of all the prints I have, I don't have one from Phil Tan and the black and white Superman Funko is awesome!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Re: Freaktacular 2015

Glad you liked it. Phil is a good friend and when I saw your list and did recon on your collection, I reached out to him for one of his pieces. He said that he had something special that would be perfect for you.

When I got it, I knew it was perfect. He even signed it.

Enjoy and thanks for hosting the secret Santa!!!

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I love the print! I think the only reason I didn't have one by him was that I've never seen him at a convention and that's where I usually buy them so I can get them signed.

Your gifts were an awesome addition to my Christmas haul. I also got a SS Gift Card, a couple eBay gift cards, a Bombshell Hawkgirl statue, and the Jabba, Leia, & Crumb Funko set. My wife's parents got me TNBA Croc and Babydoll figure set but I won't get it for a week or so.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

Hey All, hope everybody had a terrific Christmas. That's a nice haul Zod! This year, my wife bought me Disney infinity 3.0 and a Yoda to go with it. I also got an Ant man blu ray from my sister and Disney infinity Sam Blynn and Obi Wan from the in-laws. Oh and btw Zod, I jumped in head first on the BTAS figures. I bought myself a Joker, Penguin, Man-bat, and got the Batmobile for $65 shipped from thinkgeek (I blew most of my Christmas money in 1 hour :) ). I'll be picking up the Phantasm 2 pack soon, and finishing off the BTAS designed figures here and there. I did decide to skip the TNBA figures.... I just can't afford all of them. Thanks for giving me your thoughts on the figures.

They really are addictive when you see them in person. I love the scale and improved articulation. I started out with just Batman and Mr. Freeze. Now I've got almost all of them. That's a great deal on the Batmobile! I thought I got mine cheap for $76 shipped.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

Besides the awesome stuff from GZL and Golden, my wife got me the Sphero BB-8, a Scorpion Knife to go with my collection of Scorpion items, wireless headphones for when I am doing yard work, Nike socks, a bottle opener for the garage, Poe's X-wing metalsheet model, a new outdoor pullover, a pair of carhardt jeans, and a bag of Popcorn flavored Jelly Belly's :clap

Hey LaMelnik, how hard are those metalsheet models to put together? My son wanted the Optimus Prime, but I thought it was going to be hard for either of us to do. At least with my old man eyes anyway.... the pieces are soo small.

Just a reminder Freaks!

LEGO 75827 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters.

Here is a video of a speed build.
The only thing I'm disappointed in, is the binding of the instruction catalog (Yeah! It's a beast!). I wish it was spiral bound. It's hard to tell from the video, but the pages appear to be flimsy. I hope they used the thicker stock paper.

Cool video! That's a lot of Lego pieces!!! Is the Death Star Lego's biggest set they've made?

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I'm getting the Ghostbusters set on day 1 and using my points to knock it way down. I haven't been this excited for a set since the Helicarrier.

Not quite. I'm not completely sure, but I think their Taj Mahal might have the most piece count. If you mean 'biggest' in terms of size, then their Super Star Destroyer might be the one.

Awesome! Glad to hear GZL. :hi5:
Did you also secure an Ecto-1?

Yeah, I've had the Ecto-1 for awhile. I got a LEGO magazine in the mail yesterday and it showed a ton of new stuff being released on January 1st. Couple new Star Wars sets and new build-a-figures and Batman v Superman.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

I wonder how well the Ghostbusters Firehouse would fit with the other Lego Creator city block sets? That could be a cool addition.

Re: Freaktacular 2015

Just out of curiosity have we seen everyone’s Secret Santa gifts yet? I know mine was delivered but I didn’t see a pic of it yet…. Hopefully it wasn’t too disappointing and that’s why there are no pics. :(

Hey DM! I had to use some detective work to figure out who my Secret Santa was, as your creepy as picture you included definitely wasn't a football playing Vader! :lol I take total blame for not posting pictures or thanks earlier! Holidays definitely were crazier than I expected, as was work to follow. This is actually my first post in a while, I believe. Haven't been able to get on here this week at all! Haven't gotten to do quite a bit. I was hoping to have written a review for Star Wars as well, but time just wouldn't allow for it.

Still, I wish I'd set aside the time to post pictures earlier! I'll do so when I get home tonight! I waited until Christmas to open the gifts, and loved them all! I still need to take pictures of my cubicle at work, but mini-Rey was an awesome edition! It's funny because I saw that Rey the day before for the first time but held off on picking her up. My Rey-senses must've kicked in. :lol My wife may or may not have stolen the Poison Ivy keychain, but I'll steal it back for pictures. :lol And I've actually never owned micro machines, so those were awesome to get. Obi-Wan vs. Grievous is probably one of the coolest packs you can own, as well. :)

But yes, it was all awesome and not disappointing in the slightest! My apologies again to you and Zod for not posting pictures earlier. I'm not sure how time keeps escaping me so quickly these days. It may be because my father-in-law is staying with us for six weeks, so I'm subconsciously making time speed up. :lol

That's what I was thinking too. :lol
