Hey DM! I had to use some detective work to figure out who my Secret Santa was, as your creepy as picture you included definitely wasn't a football playing Vader! I take total blame for not posting pictures or thanks earlier! Holidays definitely were crazier than I expected, as was work to follow. This is actually my first post in a while, I believe. Haven't been able to get on here this week at all! Haven't gotten to do quite a bit. I was hoping to have written a review for Star Wars as well, but time just wouldn't allow for it.

Still, I wish I'd set aside the time to post pictures earlier! I'll do so when I get home tonight! I waited until Christmas to open the gifts, and loved them all! I still need to take pictures of my cubicle at work, but mini-Rey was an awesome edition! It's funny because I saw that Rey the day before for the first time but held off on picking her up. My Rey-senses must've kicked in. My wife may or may not have stolen the Poison Ivy keychain, but I'll steal it back for pictures. And I've actually never owned micro machines, so those were awesome to get. Obi-Wan vs. Grievous is probably one of the coolest packs you can own, as well.

But yes, it was all awesome and not disappointing in the slightest! My apologies again to you and Zod for not posting pictures earlier. I'm not sure how time keeps escaping me so quickly these days. It may be because my father-in-law is staying with us for six weeks, so I'm subconsciously making time speed up.

I was debating on weather I should use my board name or not... I figured it would be more fun not to. Glad you liked it all.

It's funny because I KNEW the name, but I was like, "But...I deleted all the PMs so I can't remember!!!" So then it popped into my head to do some Amazon order detective work and BAM, found your shipped prize and discovered the truth! Yeah, it was great! A smorgasbord of awesome! I'm not sure whether or not I should open the micro machines! I don't want to lose them!

The Obi-Wan pen is great too. I used it to fill out my time sheet at work this week. I just kept picturing it screaming at me, "Let her go Anakin!"

Hey Zod, so since we have been talking about the BTAS figures, I was going through some of my old fanart/artwork. And guess what I found? An old JLU design version of General Zod. I can't believe I forgot I had this.

I haven't had the time to take pics and post, but I've thanked my Secret Santa through several PM's.
Very generous and I love every item!
I was absolutely floored when I opened the packages. Yes, they came in two packages on two different days. Awesome surprise receiving that second package. I thought it was done after getting the first!

I really wish Zod had been in the cartoon. As much as I hope they're working on an animated Superman figure line to go with the Batman one, I'd be even more excited if there had been any chance of getting a Zod figure. I think I'm going to have to make due with this, which is eerily similar to your design.

Hey LaMelnik, how hard are those metalsheet models to put together? My son wanted the Optimus Prime, but I thought it was going to be hard for either of us to do. At least with my old man eyes anyway.... the pieces are soo small.

They are challenging. I actually need tweezers and needle nose pliers for it. I did break a piece off but was able to fix it without any noticeable repairs. Definitely a project that takes a few hours. Took me an hour to get 4 pieces together. Still working on it and hope to finish it this weekend. I will definitely get more as it is relaxing to build as well as frustrating at times.

Here are some shots of my Secret Santa haul! Huge thanks again to Darth Madden and the Great and Powerful Zod! Also took a shot of part of my cubicle where I placed Rey! I've got a few more things to add and then I'll take surrounding pictures!



And those LEGO Star Wars characters you posted on the other page look awesome Zod! I'm sure they'll fly off shelves, so I may have to PO them online just to ensure I get at least Rey...and likely Kylo as well! I'd love them all. I'm going to build Obi-Wan this weekend and post pics and let you guys know how they hold up!

I got the Ghostbusters Firehouse today, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to start putting it together. It is a HEAVY box. First time I've received a box from Lego that had tape on the bottom to make sure it didn't fall through.

Do you have any of the other Creator Lego city block sets? I am curious to know how they will go together. I might grab the Firehouse just to sit on it and sell it later.

I don't have any of the Creator sets yet. I'm thinking about getting the Bank, Theater, and Detective Office sets now though. Here's a shot I found of it with other sets from the guy that designed it. Not sure if the one LEGO released is actually this set though.
