Got a hold of Fred today and he said that if things are not too crazy over there at his warehouse, I can pick up mine this coming Monday, if not I have to wait till after SDCC

On further reflection as long as Sideshow are not increasing the edition size and possibly will help with shipping I don't mind. If however the edition size increases and due to Sideshow's involvement there is a delay in my receiving the bust I will be very frustrated and throw all my toys out of my pram.

Hey, at least we finally get to see pics with the bolts on now. Looks like he added a nameplate to the base as well (not necessary IMO, but it looks good)

That's true, but I've wondered if he would actually charge $950 if he hadn't sold out prior to them available. He did mention that they were selling out fast, and now they are available via Sideshow. The only thing I can amass from that is that he was having trouble moving them.

EDIT: from my recent call to Fred, this was not the case at all, as he mentioned that they were almost sold out already.
