Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

I believe in freedom of speech, but that freedom doesn't extend to the workplace, especially when the workplace has paying customers that arent paying for political lectures. Can you say anything you want at work and not be fired??? Again he is free to say what he wants just like NFL owners are free to not employ him because he is a terrible football player and a distraction in the locker room.. Its a team sport not the kaepernick **** show. He has playing of time to kneel now, so i dont know what his problems is, he can burn all the flags he wants. Funny thing is he was fined in 2015 for calling another player the N word

Except refusing to stand for an anthem doesn't impede his ability to play ball and neither should he be punished for it.
And again if he's interviewed and asked then freedom of speech dictates he has every right to voice it before or after
the job. The same applies to Tom Brady in his endorsement and support of Trump.

So it doesnt matter to you he doesnt really believe in any of this ****, he just wants to stay in the spotlight. Had he really believed in what he was saying he wouldn't have been slinging racial slurs at other players, especially black players

I don't presume to know the sincerity regarding anyone's personal beliefs and truthfully that wasn't even my point. Because
whether Kap is sincere or not in his stance you'll likely still find it offensive and arguing the exact same point.

He isnt being punished for that... both michael bennett of the seahawks and Beast mode on the raiders are sitting/kneeling for the anthem and they are both employed in the NFL. The reason he is punished is because he is a terrible football player and leader. The QB has to be a leader, he has to want to win so bad when he loses it hurts. All the great qb's have one thing in common, a fire that burns to win and to lead compelling the players around them to be better. If your qb is complacent, and doesn't care if he wins or loses you will never have a good team in the NFL, you end up being the browns or sf 49ers while krapernick was there. Tom Brady that dude has fire, losing is unacceptable to him and his whole team knows this.. Nobody wants to be the guy to let brady down or suffer his rage for costing a team the game with complacent play

Except Kap took the knee before Lynch and Bennett. Add to the fact that many initially tried to distort Kap's refusal to stand as a
Sign of him being anti-troop and un-American thus it's easy to infer that it has very little to do with his "leadership"
and/or abilities. Secondly, most if not all QB's desire to lead their teams to victory, that goes without saying, but again
You seem to be purposely distorting the initial point as if Kap can't use his platform to express his socio-political views.
You also seem determined to dissect my post in an attempt to fish for some type of argument.

I'm not distorting anything you said, nor am I trying to argue with you. Not everyone is going to agree with your view of the Kaep situation, just like not everyone will agree with mine. Nor does anyone have too. One thing is for sure kaep doesn't have a desire to win football games, it's the least of his concerns

Agreed, but that already goes without saying. What we both should have agreed upon was Kap's
right to do so on his own platform and if it didn't impede on his ability to do his job. That should
have been the end of it, instead trying to ascertain the man's sincerity or his capabilities.

W.H.Y.?

Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

Kap is a hack and a BVS supporter. Screw him. He probably likes Letoker too, just like Jon Jones who uses steroids like Snyder.

Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

DC movie line with no explicit universe attachment and just random stories? - Great idea.

Joker origin story, that nobody (Moore included) has been able to make interesting because it's an obvious disservice to the character? - Bad idea.
Hopefully it's an "origin" story about his career and not actually very personal.

Continuing the DCEU while having this new movie line? - Why?

They should start with something else though, completely Batman unrelated.

Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

A Superman period piece would be nice.

New Gods would bee cool too.

A Kingdom Come style movie would be nice.

Batman Beyond with Michael Keaton, or just finish the Burton series with one more film.

Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

If it's a period piece I'd like it to be a retro futuristic 70's Superman movie.

If they hadn't done BvS, a Sin City style TDKR would've been amazing.

I respect the Snyderverse and whatever, but it ****ed a lot of choices for cool ideas for this new movie line.

Re: FREE AT LAST [or "How the Joker escaped Leto's D-Bag Ass with Marty Scorsese's He

If it's 70's, how can it be futuristic? What does that even look like?
Because it's retro, duh!

Like, meta-period piece man, set in the 70's, but a futuristic 70's. It'd look kinda like this:

Nothing off the books, wacky villains like Starro and ****, complete sci-fantasy.

I'd love to see Burton tackle Batman Beyond. Neo-Gotham as a sort of technogothic surrealist nightmarescape would be killer.
