I was planning on picking up a second Crimson Guard anyway, so anything I get for free will be a bonus, but hoping for Desert Officer as that is the only Joe figure I am missing from my collection!

I pulled the trigger on the Ex. Zartan Vs. Flint Diorama. It's marked down to $224 plus free shipping and I've wanted it for a while. I need both Desert Ops figures (Officer and Sniper) so either one of those would be nice for me to get.

Don't they have the same deal running for Star Wars though (not a free Joe, but free SW figure)?
Is it still going? I thought it ended. Plus it was a limited list (mostly poly items) and not every in-stock Star Wars figure. Personally I think the Joe offer is a better deal as you can spend as little as $135 and get a figure of equal value (potentially) for free. Basically a BOGO. I think Boil and Waxer was the cheapest Star Wars option, so that was more a BTGO.

The Desert Officer? gah..
Was really close to picking up another CG or BDN hoping to snag them both. I don't need another Desert.

The offer says up to a $134 value. That means they expect to run out of the Desert Cobras since they're only $100. Once they've sent out all of those as freebies, they'll start sending out the more expensive figures. It would seem logical to either send out the oldest or the one with the most in stock after that. So RnR and the ninjas are probably on deck after that.
Personally, I'm looking to order the pit if it ever comes back from 'checking inventory' that its been at for the last 2 days

Hopefully your words ring true I'm all over it if it's anything else other than the officer. I'd take a second RnR for the parts.
Now that the Baroness Pf is outta the way and SE v2 is delayed I can look at expanding my nonessential collection.
