Great action shot Krayt! Shows off how nice these guys are :rock

And Zoolander, glad I could be here to call you on your BS :lol

Nice work on those :rock

But you prefer the gold chain? Don't lie to yourself, a gold chain with a brass looking ring is not cool. Drop the $5 and get one from Entropy... you will not be disappointed :lecture

I'm about to get the Frodo exclusive this week. Does Entropy still sell his chain? Is it only the chain, or the chain and ring for $5.00? Also, is that "Entropy Chicken" on this board you're talking about? Let me know. Thanks!

Yep he's the one on the board, not sure if he's still making them. But it was for a complete chain and ring. Really snazzes up the figure.

Someone is waiting for Gandalf to come show the way.

Great pose and shot sir...

I did what Jedi Mike did (good thing I don't collect the PF's) and used my IM giftcard to finally get this guy. I want to see him for myself and see if those joints are as loose and those ankles are as split as some folks claim before I plunk $ down for Sam. (Can't have one w/o the other, right :))...but some of the great photos in here finally convinced me (along with Gandalf on the way) to complete the SS LOTR 1:6 collection...

Pics soon...

I still say there was a lot of people out there that thought full price for half sized figures was too much to ask.

Whether the complaint was logical or not, I think it was a major reason.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with this...it's what prevented me from getting them when they were first available.

Hopefully if, and when they make the other two hobbitts, Merry and Pippin, they'll be between $40 - $50.

My Frodo and Sam are still for sale in the sale thread at my link in my post above. Please buy them if you can. I really need the money for the 1:6 scale Indiana Jones coming out next month from Sideshow. :whip

Thank you.

Why would that be the case? If anything, they'll be more expensive because they'll be produced just to satisfy the shrinking number of people who want to see at least the fellowship completed.

While I understand that there is a psychological barrier to paying full price for a smaller figure, the actual costs involved in producing the figures are really no less (or only very slightly less) for the hobbits. The difference in size would mean a small difference in the amount of plastic required for the body and in the amount of fabric required for the costume, but the costs of sculpting and painting the head, tailoring the costume, etc. are the same.

If Sideshow releases Merry and Pippin for $69.99 each for the exclusives, like they did for Frodo and Sam...I will still buy them.

I agree with what you're saying icruise. I want a complete 1:6 scale Fellowship myself.
